<![CDATA[Stunting is still a problem in Indonesia, where the prevalence is 20.1% and is one of the three countries with the largest stunting rates in Southeast Asia. Parental education is an important factor in nutritional status. Because with good education, parents can receive all information from outside about how to raise children. The aim of this activity is to increase parents' knowledge in preventing stunting through optimizing children's growth and development. This community service method is carried out by providing counseling and counseling material in the form of stunting through optimizing children's growth and development including understanding stunting, the importance of 1000 HPK and its stages, monitoring growth and development and its stimulation. The results of community service show that there is an increase in knowledge about stunting, namely from a sufficient level of knowledge, namely 13 (72.2%) and an average score of 6.39 before counseling and after counseling, all participants have good knowledge (100%) and an average score of average value 8.83. The community, especially mothers of babies and toddlers, is expected to increase knowledge about baby growth and development and its detection according to age stages, Health Cadres are expected to increase community motivation in checking growth and development at posyandu and Health workers provide counseling on toddler growth and development and ongoing growth and development in order to realize a golden generation.]]>
