<![CDATA[This research examines the representation of patriarchal culture patriarchy in the movie Sehidup Semati and the audience's response to the theme through Twitter reviews. A qualitative approach was used in this study by analyzing the tweets using thematic coding and discourse analysis methods to identify key themes such as gender stereotypes, power relations and critiques of patriarchy, The results show that the movie Sehidup Semati represents patriarchy through the portrayal of subordinate women, especially in unequal household relations. The female character, Renata, is portrayed as surviving in a violent relationship, reflecting the pressure of patriarchal social norms.
