Bastaman (2003) explains that the meaning of life is an individual's appreciation of things considered important, felt valuable, believed to be true, and provide special value for the individual so that they become goals in life. If the meaning of life is successfully fulfilled, the individual will experience a meaningful life and ultimately create feelings of happiness. With the meaning of life, individuals feel that they are wanted, appreciated, loved, and accepted so that they can respect themselves. This research aimed to find out how meaningful the adolescent living at LKSA Aisyiyah Putri are. In Jember Regency. The results of the study can be concluded that the overall categorization of the meaning of life for female students at LKSA Aisiyah is in the high category, this shows that self-acceptance and adaptation to the LKSA environment as a place to live can be interpreted very well. The LKSA environment is not only seen as a place to live in the form of an orphanage but is also interpreted as a family environment. This condition can also be due to the support and emotional attachment between LKSA foster children and the caregivers at LKSA.
