This research aims to map the relationship between spirituality and marital commitment through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Using the PRISMA guidelines, data from Google Scholar, retrieved via Publish or Perish, and visualized using VOSviewer, 620 articles were identified and screened to yield 9 main studies that were analyzed thematically. The results of the review indicate that spirituality plays a significant role in strengthening marital commitment. This occurs through mechanisms such as enhancing emotional regulation, increasing couple resilience, forming relational meaning, and reinforcing moral values in facing conflict. Spirituality is proven to be a psychological resource that helps couples manage economic pressure, infertility, emotional crises, and differences in social status. The findings also show the significant role of religion-based interventions, pastoral counseling, and spiritual guidance in improving family harmony, satisfaction, and resilience. Overall, this synthesis confirms that spirituality is not a complementary variable, but a structural determinant that contributes directly to the stability of marital commitment within the perspective of family psychology.
