Constipation is a disorder of the digestive system characterized by hard stools, resulting in infrequent, difficult, and painful bowel movements. This is due to the presence of solid and hard stools when excreted from the anus, which can cause changes due to anal fissures (Megasari, 2020). Constipation during pregnancy has an impact on physical, psychological, and social health, causing discomfort, negative body image perceptions, psychological disorders such as frustration and bad moods, reducing quality of life, and even increasing the risk of hemorrhoids. Research Objective: To determine the effect of using coconut dregs as a food ingredient for preventing constipation for pregnant women at the Fitriya Midwife Clinic.
