The problem of organic waste in rural areas requires an innovative and sustainable management approach. This article aims to explain the implementation of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot innovation in waste management and the construction of green leadership in Banyuresmi Village. The implementation method was carried out through the identification of village problems, socialization, education, and assistance to the community with a pilot model of maggot cultivation. The results of the activity show that the use of BSF maggots is necessary in efforts to reduce the volume of household organic waste while producing economically valuable products in the form of alternative feed and organic fertilizer. This innovation encourages the formation of a circular economy system based on local potential. The success of the program was influenced by the role of green leadership of the village government, which made efforts to integrate environmental issues into community policies, practices, and culture. Participatory and visionary leadership was able to increase community involvement in waste sorting and management. Thus, the synergy between the BSF maggot innovation and green leadership formed a model of sustainable, productive, and community-based village waste management.
