This community service program aimed to strengthen family literacy and provide initial reinforcement of parents' understanding to support their children's learning in the digital era. The activity was conducted on July 25, 2026, at SD Negeri Cibodas, Tanara District, Serang Regency, with parents (students’ guardians) as the primary participants, while teachers acted as school partners in supporting the activity. The program used an interactive seminar and talk-show format, followed by discussion and question-and-answer sessions. Evaluation was qualitative, based on participant engagement, the relevance of questions raised, and verbal responses during the activity. The results indicated strong participant involvement in discussing practical challenges, including regulating children's use of gadgets, establishing reading routines at home, maintaining motivation to learn, and improving communication between families and schools. The seminar also introduced active parental mediation, which positions parents not only as supervisors but also as facilitators who guide children in selecting information and using digital technology for learning and creativity. Participants expressed that the activity broadened their perspectives on their role in children's education. The activity indicates that interactive family literacy education is relevant to parents' daily needs. However, continuous mentoring, structured home literacy practices, and follow-up evaluation are required to examine potential longer-term changes in parental practices and family literacy development.
