This research was conducted with the aim of determining the improvement of students' science process skills through the implementation of practicum-based learning in Grade XI at SMAN 1 Gowa. This type of research is a quasi-experiment, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of the research comprised all Grade XI MIPA students at SMAN 1 Gowa, totaling 180 students. The research sample consisted of two classes, which were randomly selected, with XI MIPA 3 chosen as the experimental class and XI MIPA 4 as the control class. The experimental group was taught using the practicum method, while the control group was taught using lecture and discussion methods. Data on science process skills were collected using test instruments in the form of multiple-choice and essay questions, as well as non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, followed by normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing in the form of t-tests. The results of the study showed that the science process skills of the class taught using the practicum method experienced a significant improvement. Based on the N-Gain score results, an increase of 81.03 was achieved, which falls into the high category.
