<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to determine teacher professionalism during teaching and learning activities in facing the Independent Curriculum. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with observation and interviews with resource persons. The resource person in this research is the 5th grade teacher at SD Negeri Suryodiningratan 2 Yogyakarata. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative descriptive, the Miles & Huberman model includes data collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show the ability of a professional teacher to deal with the Merdeka curriculum and manage the teaching and learning process so as to create a process for students with quality, effective and efficient learning.]]>
