This study aims to examine the effect of training on employee competence, with employee loyalty as a mediating variable. Training is considered a key investment in human resource development to improve knowledge, skills, and work attitudes. This research uses a quantitative approach through surveys of employees in the manufacturing sector. The results indicate that training positively influences employee competence, and loyalty significantly mediates the relationship between training and competence. The findings suggest that effective training programs should also focus on fostering employee loyalty to maximize competency development.
