Apart from being a place of worship, a mosque can become a center for the people's economy. One of the Islamic instruments that can be used is productive waqf. Nadzir waqf who doubles as mosque takmir must have good knowledge of managing waqf assets so that they can become a driving force for the economy in society. Therefore, this study aims to empirically examine knowledge, attitudes, and practices in empowering people by takmir mosques in Indonesia. The method used in this study is quantitative by using the concept of knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) theory using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique. Data collection in the field was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 514 private mosque takmirs spread across 25 provinces in Indonesia. This research is expected to contribute to the development of waqf in Indonesia as an effort to increase the welfare of the people.
