<![CDATA[The purpose of the study is to determine the choice of words and language styles used in the novel Nightfall Witch by Imelia Fei. The use of words and language styles will make it easier for readers to understand the content of the story or vice versa. Qualitative descriptive analysis is used as the method of this research which aims to describe or explain the phenomenon in detail, in depth, and comprehensively. The stylistic approach will examine more deeply the distinctive language used by the author to develop the story. Both approaches and methods are in accordance with the object of this research and are used as a reference in the process of retrieving quotations from the novel. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pilihan kata dan gaya bahasa yang digunakan dalam novel Nightfall Witch karya Imelia Fei. Penggunaan kata dan gaya bahasa tersebut apakah akan memudahkan pembaca dalam memahami isi cerita atau sebaliknya. Analisis deskriptif kualitatif dipakai sebagai metode dari penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan atau menjelaskan fenomena secara detail, mendalam, dan komprehensif. Ada pun melalui pendekatan stilistika akan mengkaji lebih dalam bahasa khas yang dipakai oleh pengarang untuk mengembangkan cerita. Baik pendekatan, maupun metode sudah sesuai dengan objek penelitian ini dan digunakan sebagai acuan dalam proses pengambilan kutipan dalam novel.]]>
