This study was motivated by the need to improve students’ mathematical representation ability and the importance of self-regulated learning in mathematics learning. It aimed to examine the implementation of the FERA learning model assisted by the Baamboozle application, determine whether students’ mathematical representation ability improved better than through conventional learning, and describe students’ self-regulated learning in the implementation of the FERA learning model. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research was conducted at a senior high school in Sukabumi using purposive sampling, involving 30 students in the experimental class X-2 and 30 students in the control class X-1. The study was conducted on the Statistics topic over three meetings. Data were collected using a mathematical representation test, a self-regulated learning questionnaire, and observation sheets, and analyzed using the Ngain test, normality test, homogeneity test, and an independent-samples t-test. The results showed average implementation scores of 90.93% for the teacher and 87.50% for the students, the experimental class obtained a higher mean Ngain 0.756 than the control class 0.556, with a significant difference t(58) = 4.95, p <0,001 and a large effect size Cohen’s d = 1.278 and students’ self-regulated learning obtained a mean score of 3.48, which was categorized as good.
