The integration of artificial intelligence into teaching has become a promising strategy for enhancing teachers’ competence and work efficiency; however, limited digital literacy and confidence remain significant barriers to its implementation. This community service program aimed to improve teachers’ self-efficacy and teaching quality through Teachy AI training at SDN 182/I Hutan Lindung. The program employed community education, training, guided practice, mentoring, product review, reflection, and qualitative evaluation. The results indicated that teachers became more confident in using AI, were able to formulate more purposeful prompts, and produced lesson modules, student worksheets, teaching materials, instructional media, and assessment instruments with the support of Teachy AI. Teachers also demonstrated greater awareness of the need to verify and adapt AI-generated outputs to instructional needs. Practice-based training combined with mentoring is therefore relevant for supporting critical, contextual, and sustainable AI integration in elementary education.
