This research investigates how creating infographics impacts the critical thinking abilities of high school students. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study assessed sixteen students through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires focusing on six key critical thinking domains: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation. The findings reveal a general improvement in students' critical thinking profiles following the infographic project, with the most significant advancements occurring in inference, evaluation, and analysis. These results indicate that infographic production is particularly effective at highlighting students’ capacities to synthesize information, form judgments, and structure concepts. Ultimately, the study suggests that infographic writing serves as a valuable multimodal assessment tool for critical thinking, especially when integrated with clear criteria, reflection, and opportunities for revision.
