This community service report examined basic e-learning training for teachers and students of SMK YAPIM Medan, Indonesia. The activity addressed the need to strengthen familiarity with online learning, digital learning resources, and communication beyond the classroom. The training combined explanations of e-learning concepts with planned demonstrations and guided practice, supported by needs assessment, interviews, observation, and literature study. The program was documented by a school certificate dated 6 February 2024 and attendance sheets for teachers and students. The original report described training preparation, learning materials, implementation procedures, and proposed indicators of satisfaction, service continuity, and response time. However, it did not provide verified pretest and posttest scores, item-level questionnaire data, or documented outcomes for individual platform tasks. Consequently, this article reported the activity and its supporting evidence descriptively rather than claiming a measured increase in digital skills. The main practical implication was the need for structured, accessible, and regularly evaluated teacher–student e-learning training. Future implementation should record the specific platform used, completed practical assignments, participants’ learning outcomes, and follow-up use in classroom activities.
