This study aims to analyze the validity and implementation of contractual obligations in an endorsement contract and to examine the application of breach of contract provisions in the Purwokerto District Court Decision Number 66/Pdt.G/2019/PN Pwt. This study employs a normative juridical method using statutory, case, and conceptual approaches. The analysis focuses on the provisions of the Indonesian Civil Code concerning agreements, contractual obligations, performance, and breach of contract, as well as the legal reasoning of the court in the case under review. The findings show that an endorsement contract constitutes an innominate contract whose validity and binding force are governed by the general principles of contract law, particularly the provisions concerning the validity of agreements and the binding force of contracts. In the case examined, the contractual relationship between the parties involved capital contribution, profit sharing, production, promotional expenses, and social media endorsement activities. The court found that the alleged breach of contract was not legally proven because the disputed promotional expenses were based on the agreement and its addenda, the mechanism for distributing remaining inventory had not been specifically regulated, and the claim concerning additional capital contribution was not sufficiently supported by evidence. The decision demonstrates that breach of contract must be assessed on the basis of clearly established contractual obligations and adequate evidence of their violation.
