This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by reviewing various literature related to modern education, the characteristics of 21st-century students, and the role of AI in learning. The results of the discussion indicate that today's students possess characteristics such as high digital literacy, critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and information literacy. AI makes significant contributions to personalized learning, automated evaluation, and as a learning assistant. However, the use of AI also presents challenges, such as the risk of dependency, reduced social interaction, and the potential erosion of human values.
