<![CDATA[Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria, which spreads through the air from infected individuals when coughing, talking, or singing. Aceh Province recorded 10,745 TB cases in 2023, while Southwest Aceh Regency reported 260 cases with an 82% treatment success rate. This study aimed to determine the effects of recovery motivation, the role of health workers, and family support on pulmonary TB recovery at Teungku Peukan Regional Hospital, Southwest Aceh. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design conducted from February to May 2024. The population consisted of bacteriologically confirmed drug-sensitive TB patients recorded in the Tuberculosis Information System, with a sample of 70 patients selected using purposive sampling. Logistic regression analysis showed that recovery motivation significantly influenced TB recovery (OR = 1.17; 95% CI: 1.05–1.31; p = 0.005), and the role of health workers also had a significant positive effect (OR = 1.11; 95% CI: 1.01–1.22; p = 0.035). Meanwhile, family support was not statistically significant (OR = 0.96; 95% CI: 0.84–1.09; p = 0.526). Recovery motivation was the most dominant factor affecting TB recovery by improving medication adherence and treatment outcomes.]]>
