Drug transportation is an important part of the distribution process to ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of medicines until they reach the receiving facility. This study aimed to evaluate the compliance of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) implementation in the drug transportation process at the Pharmaceutical and Health Logistics Installation (IFLK) of Riau Province. This study used a descriptive and evaluative observational method through observation using a 2025 GDP transportation checklist and interviews with transportation personnel. The study was conducted from June 15 to 27, 2026, at IFLK Riau Province. The results showed that most transportation aspects had been implemented, including delivery schedule and route planning, vehicle security, verification of medicines against delivery documents, cold-chain product control, temperature monitoring, vehicle maintenance, and delivery documentation. However, several aspects still need improvement, particularly GDP training for drivers, the use of GPS technology to improve traceability, and strengthening security procedures and documentation during transportation. Overall, the implementation of GDP in the drug transportation process at IFLK Riau Province was considered fairly good, but further improvements are needed to optimize quality control. Keywords: Good Distribution Practices, Drug Transportation, Drug Distribution, IFLK, Drug Quality
