Stroke is a serious public health threat in Indonesia, particularly in South Kalimantan which has the highest national stroke mortality rate. Telok Selong Ulu Village has a significant number of stroke cases. Low public knowledge and awareness, along with limited cadre skills in early detection, are major challenges. This community service program aimed to empower cadres and communities through education and training on stroke, early detection using FAST, stroke patient care with ROM and acupressure, and use of digital blood pressure monitors. Methods included health education, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Results showed an increase in knowledge from 60.0% (poor) to 77.1% (good). Participants were able to perform early detection, stroke patient care, and use blood pressure monitors independently. High enthusiasm indicated program success. It is hoped that the community can apply the acquired knowledge and skills to prevent stroke.
