<![CDATA[This study aims to develop a web-based teacher attendance application at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliran Gumanti. The background of this research is the use of a manual attendance system that still causes recording errors, delays in data recapitulation, and difficulties in monitoring teacher attendance in real time. Therefore, a more effective, efficient, and accurate web-based attendance system is needed. This research applied the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with an iterative model consisting of five stages: planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database. System testing was conducted through three methods: Alpha testing (Whitebox Testing and Blackbox Testing) and Beta testing. The results of Alpha testing indicated that all system components were valid and functioned as designed, meaning the Alpha testing was successfully completed. Furthermore, the Beta testing involving experts resulted in an average score of 83.65%, categorized as very good. Meanwhile, the user questionnaire results showed an average score of 91.6%, also categorized as very good. Based on these results, the developed web-based teacher attendance application is considered feasible for implementation and capable of improving efficiency and accuracy in managing teacher attendance at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliran Gumanti.]]>
