Natural Science and Social Studies in elementary schools often face limitations in integrated teaching materials that are relevant to students’ socio-cultural context, while the curriculum demands contextual and interdisciplinary learning. This study developed the natural Science and Social Studies textbook “Pesona Jepara”, which integrates science and social studies concepts with the local culture of Jepara Regency through a STEAM-based approach, employing a Research and Development (R&D) method limited to the stages of analysis, design, development, and expert validation. Validation results from three experts indicated a very high level of feasibility across all aspects, including curriculum alignment, conceptual accuracy, cultural integration, and STEAM implementation, confirming that the teaching materials are coherent, contextual, and pedagogically sound. Limited testing through expert validation highlights the need for further research to evaluate student responses and classroom effectiveness. This textbook provides an integrated reference that bridges the need for contextual learning with interdisciplinary STEAM principles, while serving as a foundation for future studies.
