This study analyzes the effect of integrating the IPOS 5 Point of Sale (POS) application with barcode technology on sales management and inventory control at the MSME Mifda Mart. Amixed-methods approach with a single-case study design was used. Descriptive quantitative data (transaction time, price-input error rate, stock accuracy, and reporting time) and qualitative data were collected through 30 days of direct observation, in-depth interviews with four informants (the owner, two cashiers, and the warehouse officer), and document review. The average transaction time per customer decreased from 165 to 58 seconds (a 64.8% efficiency gain), the price-input error rate decreased from 8.5% to 0.2%, stock accuracy rose from 88.0% to 99.4% (an increase of 11.4 percentage points), and daily financial reports that previously took 3-4 hours were generated automatically. The main challenges, namely initial employee resistance and hardware maintenance, were addressed through training and maintenance procedures. The higher stock accuracy suggests a potential reduction in inventory discrepancies, although before-and-after stock loss data were not available. The findings are descriptive, based on a single case, and are not intended to be generalized.
