This study aims to describe the implementation of mathematics instruction using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach supported by interactive PowerPoint media and to analyze changes in the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students regarding place value. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, involving 25 sixth-grade students selected via a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Learning outcome data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, the Product Moment correlation test, and the Paired Sample t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score of 60.40 increased to 82.60 on the posttest, representing an average increase of 22.20 points and an N-Gain score of 0.592 (categorized as medium). The pretest and posttest data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The Paired Sample t-test results indicated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores (t = 17.606; Sig. < 0.001). These findings demonstrate a change in mathematics learning outcomes following the implementation of the PMRI approach supported by interactive PowerPoint media among sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 060830 Medan Petisah.
