ABSTRACT Limited yard land and the non-optimal use of used gallon waste are one of the obstacles in efforts to improve household food security in Mojorejo Village, Sragen Regency. This service activity aims to improve community knowledge and skills through the application of Budikdalon, which is the cultivation of catfish and kale using used gallons based on the aquaponic system. The implementation method includes the preparation stage, counseling, direct practice, and evaluation with a participatory approach involving PKK members of Mojorejo Village. The socialization activity was attended by 16 participants, while the practice was attended by 47 people. The results of the activity show the high enthusiasm and participation of the community in each stage, as well as an increase in understanding of the techniques for making, maintaining, and utilizing Budikdalon. The use of used gallons as a cultivation medium also provides environmental benefits through the application of the principle of reduce and reuse, as well as opening up opportunities to meet the food needs of families from narrow yards. Thus, Budikdalon is a simple, easy-to-apply innovation, and has the potential to support household food security while increasing public awareness of the productive use of plastic waste.
