This activity aimed to improve community knowledge and skills in organic waste management and water conservation, implement BIOPORI Ember technology as a water infiltration facility, and utilize household organic waste as composting material. The method used a participatory approach through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), community empowerment, and technology transfer. Activities included environmental surveys and problem identification, socialization, education, preparation of tools and materials, construction, installation, assistance, monitoring, and evaluation. The results showed that 16 BIOPORI Ember units were successfully installed in RW 04, East Hadimulyo Village. The use of recycled paint buckets as BIOPORI media provided a simple, economical, and practical alternative for supporting water infiltration and organic waste management. Education and hands-on practice helped residents understand the use, filling, and maintenance of BIOPORI independently and sustainably.
