Abstract

Changes in lifestyle among elementary school children, characterized by an increase in the time spent on sedentary activities such as watching television and playing with gadgets, have contributed to a decrease in their level of physical activity. This has the potential to cause various health problems and affect motor skills in elementary school children. The aim of this research is to determine and describe whether there is an effect of Great Indonesian Children's Gymnastics on the motor educability of elementary school students. This study used a pre-experimental design, namely a one-group pretest-posttest design, in which the treatment results can be seen more accurately because they are compared with the condition before treatment. Based on the table describing the average results of motor educability, it can be said that there was an increase, namely from the pretest score before treatment of 22.08 in the medium category to the post-test score after treatment of 26.92 in the good category. Based on the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The SPSS output also shows that t count > t table, namely 1.676 > 1.199, so Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Great Indonesian Children's Gymnastics on the motor educability of elementary school students.
