Abstract

Breast milk has long been known as the best overall nutritional quality and quantity at the time of the leap of brain growth that occurs from 0 to 6 months of a baby. Breast milk contains nutrients that have a specific function for the growth of the brain such as long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (DHA and AA) for the growth of the brain and retina. In addition to brain development, exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months is also good for preparing babys digestive system.
