Mothers education has a very important role in reducing the prevalence of malnutrition in children under five years. A mother can determine how the selection of food for their babies. Health department reported that about 900 thousand children under five in Indonesia holds of the malnutrition status. This resulted in Indonesia was ranked five malnutrition. The purpose of this Research to determine the relationship of maternal education with nutritional status of children under five years at Posyandu Kedung Caluk Kreteranggon Sambeng Lamongan. The research desing is correlational analytic. The population was all women who come Posyandu Kedung Caluk Kreteranggon Sambeng Lamongan district by 40 mothers. Samples were taken with a total sampling of 40 respondents. Data collected with the questionnaire for education and observation sheets baby weight and then tested with Spearman rho test and presented in the distribution frequency table. The result of Spearman test obtained ρ = 0.012, α = 0.05 then ρ <α, so that the H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted it means that there is a relationship between maternal education with the nutritional status of children under five years in Kedung Caluk Kreteranggon Sambeng Lamongan. Results of this study can be stated that the higher ones education, the better their nutritional status. Because of the higher education then someone will get better knowledge about foods that meets the nutritional needs of the better their nutritional status. Mother of toddler expected to increase knowledge of the nutrition, so their can stimulate to improve compliance with nutritional status of Children with Better.Keywords: Education, Toddlers, Nutritional Status
