KEMAMPUAN SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 18 BANDA ACEH MENGIDENTIFIKASI AFIKS DALAM TEKS EKPOSISI

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Kemampuan Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh Mengidentifikasi Afiks dalam Teks Ekposisi”. Masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimanakah kemampuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh mengidentifikasi prefiks dalam teks eksposisi, (2) bagaimana kemampuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeru 18 Banda Aceh mengidentifikasi sufiks, dan (3) bagaimana kemapuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh Mengidentifikasi konfiks dalam teks eksposisi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 130 siswa dengan sampel 32 siswa. Sampel diambil secara interval. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Proses pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik tes. Setelah itu, data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dalam bentuk perhitungan rata-rata (mean). Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari analisis data menunjukkan kemampuan  siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh  mengidentifikasi tiap-tiap aspek, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa dari aspek mengidentifikasi prefiks adalah 69,8 nilai tersebut digolongkan kedalam kategori cukup, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari aspek mengidentifikasi sufiks adalah 52,8nilai tersebut digolongkan kedalam kategori cukup, dan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari aspek mengidentifkasi konfiks adalah 65,7 nilai tersebut digolongkan kedalam kategori cukup. Nilai rata-rata dari keseluruhan aspek yangdiperoleh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh adalah 69, termasuk dalam kategori cukup yaitu pada rentang nilai 56-69.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan siswa, mengidentifikasi, afiks, teks ekposisi. ABSTRACT This study is entitled "The Ability of Eighth Grade Students of SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh to Identify Affixes in the Exposition Text". The problems raised in this study are (1) how is the ability of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh to identify the prefixes in the exposition text, (2) how the ability of eighth grade students of State Junior High School 18 Banda Aceh to identify suffixes, and (3) how class students are capable VIII SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh Identifies confixes in exposition text. The population in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh in the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 130 students with a sample of 32 students. Samples are taken at intervals. In this study researchers used quantitative descriptive methods. The research data collection process was carried out using test techniques. After that, the data is processed using quantitative techniques in the form of an average (mean) calculation. The average value obtained from the data analysis shows the ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh to identify each aspect, the average value obtained by students from the aspect of identifying prefixes is 69.8 these values are classified into sufficient categories, average values The average obtained from the aspect of identifying the suffix is 52.8. This value is classified as sufficient, and the average value obtained from the identifying aspect of the confix is 65.7. The value is classified into sufficient categories. The average value of all aspects obtained by eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh is 69, including in the sufficient category, namely in the range of 56-69.Keywords: Student ability, identify, affix, exposition text.
