Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X akuntansi 2 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 18 Jakarta semester I tahun pelajaran 2016/2017  pelajaran akuntansi perusahaan jasa dan dagang khususnya kompetensi dasar mencatat transaksi keuangan ke dalam buku harian atau jurnal. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskripsi dengan pendekatan action research. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas  X Akuntansi 2 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 18 Jakarta Selatan. Hasil analisis deskripsi mengungkapkan, bahwa pada Siklus I, rata-rata hasil belajar  75,71 dengan persentase ketuntasan 71 %, dan pada siklus II, rata-rata hasil mengalami kenaikan menjadi  84,53 dengan persentase ketuntasan 97%. Aktivitas belajar  dalam kegiatan pembelajaran juga mengalami kenaikan dari siklus I dibanding siklus II,  siklus I  69,11% dan siklus II 91,47% sehingga mengalami kenaikan 22,36%.yang terdiri partisipasi aktif, interaksi siswa dengan kelompok, melaksanakan tugas tepat waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas.
         
This study aims to determine whether the discussion method can improve the results of class X student of accounting 2 Vocational High School 18 South Jakarta the first semester of the school year 2016/2017 accounting subjects and trading services company in particular the basic competencies record financial transactions in the diary or journal. This type of research is research description with action research approach. The research subject is class X Accounting 2 Vocational High School 18 South Jakarta. The results of descriptive analysis revealed that in the first cycle, an average of 75.71 with the percentage of learning outcomes completeness 71%, and the second cycle, average yield rose to 84.53 with the percentage of completeness 97%. Activities learned in the learning activities also increased from the first cycle compared to the second cycle, the first cycle and cycle II 69.11% 91.47% 22.36% so that the increase consisted .The active participation, student interaction with a group, carry out the task on time in completing the task.
