Abstract

To support emission reduction activities, through the Regional Action Plan for Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions (RAD-GRK) it is necessary to measure carbon stocks on various types of land, one of which is land managed by communities with “dusun” agroforestry patterns. This study aims to obtain allometric equations to estimate plant biomass with diameter parameters at breast height (dbh) in order to help local governments prepare academic agendas related to the REDD ++ Program in Maluku and the development of knowledge in the field of forest carbon. Data collection was done by destructive sampling method by purposive sampling and 3 samples of nutmeg diameter with dbh diameter were different but the same age ie 27 years representing nutmeg stands in “dusun” agroforestry land in Liang village, Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency. Based on the results of the study obtained allometric equations to estimate stem biomass content in nutmeg (Miristica pragrans) in hamlet agroforestry land, namely B. stem = 0.456 dbh4,542 (kg / tree) (R2 0,918) and the content of root biomass (below ground) is B .akar = 7.359 dbh2.889 (kg / tree) (R2 0.996). The number of Biomass Expansion Factor (BEF) is 1.94 and the number of Root to shoot ratio (R / S) is 0.08.
