Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Memperoleh gambaran pelaksanaan konseling kelompok di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati, (2) Memperoleh gambaran tingkat konsep diri siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Tlogowungu Pati, (3) Menghasilkan model layanan konseling kelompok melalui teknik self-management agar dapat meningkatkan konsep diri siswa, (4) Mengetahui tingkat efektifitas model layanan konseling kelompok melalui teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Layanan konseling kelompok di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati telah terencana dalam program bimbingan dan konseling akan tetapi pelaksanaannya masih kurang optimal, (2) Tingkat konsep diri Siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Tlogowungu Pati pada kategori sangat rendah adalah 1,4%, kategori rendah 30,3%, kategori sedang 43,8%, dan kategori tinggi 24,5%, (3) Dihasilkan model konseling kelompok teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa, dan (4) Model konseling kelompok teknik self-management efektif dalam meningkatkan konsep diri siswa.The purpose of this study were: (1) to get portrait of group counseling employment in Pati Regency Junior High School. (2) To get portrait of the students’ self-concept of 1 Tlogowungu Junior High School. (3) To produce counseling group service model through self-management technique to improve student self-concept. (4) To figure out the effectiveness level of group self-management counseling technique to improve students’ self-concept. This study applied Research and Development (R&D) method. Results showed (1) Group counseling service of the school has been well planned in the guidance and counseling program, however it is not optimally employed. (2) The students’ self-concept level in which in the lowest level is 1.4%, low level is 30.3%, medium level is 43.8%, and top level is 24.5%, (3) It is  produced self-management group counseling model to improve students’ self-concept, and (4) self-management group counseling technique model is proven effectively to improve the students’ self-concept.
