Abstract

Abstract: Character-Based Math Game As Learning Approach to Improve Learning Achievement. This study is aimed to describe the effectiveness of media math game character based on the students’ achievement in elementary schools. The research is descriptive quantitative research. To determine the effectiveness of mathematical game character -based  math to  the students’ achievement,  the data were analyzed by one-sample t test, by firstly conducting  normality test of Skewness, and then homogenity test was computed by  Levene homogeneity test. The results showed that the use of  character-based math game  is effective to  mathematics achievement of primary students. Keywords: math-based game character, academic achievement Abstrak: Permainan Matematika Berbasis Karakter Sebagai Pendekatan Pembelajaran Guna Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan media permainan matematika berbasis karakter terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SD. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan permainan matematika berbasis karakter terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji one sample t test, dengan melakukan terlebih dahulu Uji normalitas yang digunakan adalah uji Skewness, lalu dilakukan uji homogenitas dengan menggunakan Levene Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Permainan Matematika berbasis Karakter efektif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa SD. Kata kunci: permainan matematika berbasis karakter, prestasi belajar
