Abstract: Social Science Learning Obstacles: Psychological, Social, and Economic Development in the Affected Areas Lapindo. The purpose of this study to determine: (1) constraints in learning social studies SDN Mindi 1; (2) psychological constraints on SDN Mindi 1; (3) the social and economic constraints Mindi village; (4) social studies learning solution in SDN Mindi 1; (5) solution to the psychological constraints on SDN Mindi 1; and (6) the solution to the social and economic constraints Mindi village community. Data were collected by participant observation, interviews, and documentation studies and analyzed with an interactive analysis techniques. The results of the study are: (1) conventional learning; (2) many teachers and students who are still traumatized by the Lapindo mudflow disaster; (3) the Lapindo mudflow disaster has destroyed the social and economic life of the village community Mindi; (4) to overcome the obstacles of learning solutions applied them create a conducive learning environment in the classroom, teaching social studies with storytelling and dialogue; (5) to overcome the psychological barriers between the methods used to exercise in the morning, and play therapy; and (6) Mindi village and all the villages that were around Lapindo mud embankment is an area that is not suitable for habitation, therefore all existing residents around the Lapindo mud embankments should be relocated. Abstrak: Kendala Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial: Psikologis, Sosial, dan Ekonomi di Sekitar Daerah Bencana Lapindo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) kendala pembelajaran IPS di SDN Mindi 1; (2) kendala psikologis di SDN Mindi 1; (3) kendala sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat desa Mindi; (4) solusi pembelajaran IPS di SDN Mindi 1; (5) solusi terhadap kendala psikologis di SDN Mindi 1; dan (6) solusi terhadap kendala social dan ekonomi masyarakat desa Mindi. Data dikumpulkan dengan pengamatan berperan serta, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) pembelajaran bersifat konvensional; (2) banyak guru dan siswa yang masih trauma terhadap bencana lumpur Lapindo; (3) bencana lumpur Lapindo telah menghancurkan kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat desa Mindi; (4) untuk mengatasi kendala pembelajaran solusi yang diterapkan diantaranya menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif di dalam kelas, pembelajaran IPS dengan metode bercerita dan dialog; (5) untuk mengatasi kendala psikologis metode yang digunakan diantara dengan senam pagi, dan terapi bermain; dan (6) desa Mindi dan semua desa yang berada di sekitar tanggul lumpur Lapindo merupakan daerah yang tidak layak huni, oleh karena itu semua penduduk yang ada di sekitar tanggul lumpur Lapindo harus segera direlokasi.
