Abstract

Cloud computing is becoming an attractive technology due to its dynamic scalability and effective usage of the resources, it can be utilized under circumstances where the availability of resources is limited. The main aim of this study is to develop an IS successful model for cloud computing in IT project environment. There were 38 respondents participated in this study. Data were collected by surveys and analyzed by SPSS. The findings of the study revealed that the system under study was quite successful on use of cloud computing in IT project assignment and very useful. In addition to all hypotheses in this study were interrelated.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the information quality and its effect on performance of Iraqi companies. Organizations were found aware on the need to have quality of information as to cope with environmental uncertainty. Most organizations agree on the importance of accounting information system (AIS) as to gather, perform, and report about the performance of their financial activities. Findings show quality of information is an important factor for performance enhancement. Therefore, to become or remain competitive need organizations to have good AIS as it helps organizations to formulate better strategies and later achieve better organizational performance. This means quality of information is certainly a strategic factor for organizational survival or prosperity.

Abstract

Informasi digital saat ini mendominasi pertukaran atau peredaran informasi di institusi manapun, baik di sector Pemerintahan, Swasta, Pendidikan/Perguruan Tinggi, Sosial, Pertahanan dan Keamanan, Ekonomi, Politik dll. Hampir pasti informasi merupakan ujung tombak pergerakan ekonomi, "yang memegang informasi maka ia akan memenangkan perang ". Di era internet saat ini, yang sangat dicari oleh hacker atau cracker dan penyusup adalah informasi, jantung informasi dalam database, komputer dan laptop tidak bernilai lebih di mata hacker atau cracker, hacker baik individu atau tim akan mencoba untuk menerobos informasi pertahanan dan keamanan pada server, mereka berlomba-lomba untuk dapat memperoleh informasi penting, dan bahkan rahasia paling sensitif sekalipun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk klasifikasi keamanan informasi dengan dibuat model rating pada tingkat sensitivitas informasi, dengan klasifikasi keamanan informasi akan dapat mengontrol perlindungan keamanan data dan informasi, klasifikasi dihitung dengan dengan faktro penilaian risiko sehingga informasi dapat disimpan jauh dari tangan pemulung informasi terutama di sektor pendidikan tinggi Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of information literacy based on the students’ English ability of S1 Library Science Study Program Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University of Semarang, year 2013. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with case study type. The subject of this research is the students of S1 Library Science Study Program, year 2013, and the object of English proficiency and its application for information literacy. Data collection was done by interview and document study. The informants were chosen by purposive sampling, that is, the students of S1 Library Science Study Program Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University of Semarang, year 2013 who have got information literacy subject amount of 15 students. The result of the research shows that the students of year 2013 have used English to be literate. They understand their needs, then seek information either from international journals, via internet, or from the library. The use of their information is clear, that is, to support in writing thesis. They can overcome their lack of English language skills.

Abstract

Kesadaran Kritis Mahasiswa Aceh Terhadap Informasi Hoax (Studi Deskriptif Kualitatif Literasi Media Tentang Kesadaran Kritis Mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam UIN Ar-Raniry Terhadap Informasi Hoax di Media Sosial Facebook)ABSTRAK, Penelitian ini berjudul “Kesadaran Kritis Mahasiswa Aceh Terhadap Informasi Hoax (Studi Deskriptif Kualitatif Literasi Media Tentang Kesadaran Kritis Mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam UIN Ar-Raniry Terhadap Informasi Hoax di Media Sosial Facebook)”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kesadaran kritis mahasiswa komunikasi Aceh terhadap informasi hoax. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menafsirkan dan menguraikan fakta yang bersangkutan dengan dengan situasi yang sedang terjadi dengan menggunakan teori Literasi Media. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif jurusan Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh.Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dengan teknik penarikan sample purposif sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kesadaran kritis mahasiswa berupa kemampuan kognitif dalam menerjemahkan isi pesan, membagi pesan berdasarkan unsur 5W1H dan piramida terbalik, mempertanyakan kebenaran informasi, memeriksa kelengkapan, membandingkannya dengan konteks nyata, menganalisis sumber, serta membandingkan informasi dengan tautan situs dan informasi di media lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kemampuan literasi media mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran UIN Ar-Raniry berada dalam kategori medium, yaitu kemampuan pengoperasian media (technical skills) tinggi, kemampuan dalam menganalisis dan mengevaluasi konten media bagus (critical understanding), serta aktif dalam memproduksi konten media dan berpartisipasi secara sosial (communicative abilities).Kata Kunci : Hoax, Literasi media, Kesadaran kritisCritical Awareness of Aceh Students to Information Hoax (Qualitative Descriptive Study Media Literacy About Critical Awareness of Communication and Broadcasting Students of Islam UIN Ar-Raniry Against Information Hoax in Social Media Facebook)ABSTRACT, The study is titled “Critical Awareness of Aceh Students to Information Hoax (Qualitative Descriptive Study Media Literacy About Critical Awareness of Communication and Broadcasting Students of Islam UIN Ar-Raniry Against Information Hoax in Social Media Facebook)”.The purpose of this research is to know how critical awareness of student of Aceh communication to hoax information. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive-qualitative research that aims to interpret and describe the facts concerned with the situation that is happening by using the theory of Media Literacy. The subject of this research is the active student of the Department of Communication and Islamic Broadcasting of Ar-Raniry State Islamic University of Banda Aceh.Teknik data collection conducted using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. With sampling technique purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate students' critical awareness of cognitive ability to translate message content, split messages based on 5W1H elements and inverted pyramids, questioning the truth of information, checking completeness, comparing it with real contexts, analyzing sources, and comparing information with sitelinks and information in other media . The conclusion of this research stated that students media literacy ability of Communication and Broadcasting of UIN Ar-Raniry are in medium category, that is high technical operation ability, ability in analyzing and evaluating critical media content and active in producing content media and participate socially (communicative abilities).Keywords: Hoax, Media Literacy, Critical Awareness

Abstract

Information Product Approach (IP Approach) is an information management approach. It can be used to manage product information and data quality analysis. IP-Map can be used by organizations to facilitate the management of knowledge in collecting, storing, maintaining, and using the data in an organized. The process of data management of academic activities in X University has not yet used the IP approach. X University has not given attention to the management of information quality of its. During this time X University just concern to system applications used to support the automation of data management in the process of academic activities. IP-Map that made in this paper can be used as a basis for analyzing the quality of data and information. By the IP-MAP, X University is expected to know which parts of the process that need improvement in the quality of data and information management. Abstract

Health literacy becomes important to have in the communication process that occurs at this time. In this digital era, we can access a variety of information easily. It is undeniable that if some sort of information that we get is a hoax information. One of this information relating to the health sector, namely in the use of traditional medicine in the digital age.In this study, researcher are interes ted to raise the research on health literacy as an effort to prevent hoax information in the use of traditional medicine in the digital age. Especially considering that the use of traditional medicine is also becoming crowded spread in the internet and social media. Researcher want to know how health literacy as an effort to prevent hoax information in the use of traditional medicine in the digital age. Results of research have shown that health literacy is regarded as prevention efforts in the face of a hoax information about the use of traditional medicines, which include: (1) the selection of media in the information needs of health care; (2) determination of the source of reference in cross check the accuracy of information about the health of the traditional medicine; (3) health right decision in using the traditional medicine.Literasi kesehatan menjadi hal yang penting dimiliki dalam proses komunikasi yang terjadi saat ini. Pada era digital ini, kita dapat mengakses berbagai macam informasi dengan mudah. Tak dapat dimungkiri jika sebagian informasi yang kita dapatkan pun adalah informasi hoax. Salah satunya informasi yang berkaitan dengan bidang kesehatan, yaitu dalam penggunaan obat tradisional di era digital. Peneliti mengangkat penelitian tentang literasi kesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan informasi hoax dalam penggunaan obat tradisional di era digital. Apalagi mengingat bahwa penggunaan obat tradisional pun kian ramai menyebar dalam internet dan media sosial. Peneliti ingin mengetahui literasi kesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan informasi hoax dalam penggunaan obat tradisional di era digital. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa literasi kesehatan memang dikatakan sebagai upaya pencegahan dalam menghadapi informasi hoax tentang penggunaan obat tradisional, yang meliputi; (1) pemilihan media dalamkebutuhan informasi pelayanan kesehatan; (2) penentuan sumber referensi dalam cross check kebenaran informasi kesehatan tentang obat tradisional tersebut; (3) pengambilan keputusan kesehatan yang tepat dalam menggunakan obat tradisional tersebut.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Dosen (SIADO) as an academic information system for Universitas Brawijaya lecturers are not fully optimized and used since many perspectives about the system, such as system quality complaints and it’s not obligated to use by the University leaders even many benefits can be obtained. This research conducted to describe the factors on SIADO’s user acceptance in five variables, namely is user characteristic, system quality, top management & IT support, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use, using descriptive statistical analysis. Data collection techniques with offline questionnaire were distributed using paper from 96 Universitas Brawijaya lecturers. Validation and reliability were checked with statistics methods and descriptive statistical analysis is implemented to measure the level of categories on each variable to provide calculation and information based on data centralization and dissemination, and acquired categorized data. The results show that all five variables receive high category on SIADO acceptance, which indicates the user perception all five variables are good to be used as a consideration tool in receiving the actual use of the system.

Abstract

This study explored the relationship between the local government and the external stakeholders in the frame of the administrative performance information publication. The research findings show that poor practices of administration and the lack of social activism have kept the information asymmetry and goal conflict in existent. In addition, instead of making effort to overcome information asymmetry and goal conflict, the stakeholders preferred to exit the relationship. This is an exploratory single case study in the context of Wajo, a locale area with a long history of a moral system and democratic practices since the fifteenth century.

Abstract

Since globalization era has gone around the world, every one is able to accept news easily. Many kinds of information can be seen and heard whenever they want. Society observes bad or good information, hence they can learn anything in one side, but in the other side the information attacks them. The broken society arises soon every where. And Moslems are parts of them. If the moslems do not understand how Al-Qur’an overcomes this problem, they will not improve theirself and will be vanished by the end of the time. So,they should learn about how Alqur'an guides in responding information.
