Journal of Islamic Community Development is an academic journal published by the Department of Islamic Community Development, Faculty of Da‘wah and Communication, State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya, since 2021. The journal serves as a platform for scientific publications for academics, researchers, practitioners, and students who focus on the study of Muslim community development and empowerment, both at the national and global levels, through conceptual-theoretical as well as practical-empirical approaches. JICD publishes articles on research findings, community service, empowerment model development, transformative da‘wah studies, and social innovations based on Islamic values. Each issue is published twice a year, in March and September, consisting of six articles per issue
