Al-Ma‘ani: Journal of Islamic Studies
Al-Ma‘ani: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Institut Daarul Qur’an Jakarta. The journal focuses on the development of Islamic studies in various dimensions, both classical and contemporary. It serves as an academic platform for researchers and scholars to explore Islamic studies through interdisciplinary approaches, covering areas such as Qur’anic exegesis and Ulum al-Qur’an, Hadith studies, Kalam and Islamic philosophy, Sufism, Islamic law, Islamic history and civilization, Islamic education, Islam and the social sciences, as well as contemporary Islamic issues. Published twice a year (June and December), the journal welcomes research articles, literature studies, and critical conceptual papers. Each article is double-blind peer-reviewed. The editors accept contributions of articles in Indonesian containing 2,500–5,000 words that have never been published elsewhere. Authors are required to follow the APA Style (American Psychological Association) for citations and references.
