Abstract

The real preacing is educating human being to change into positif direction. As a teacher and an educator for the nation, M. Natsir has understood well his nation character and the character of preaching that is very complext. He is concern to the effort of giving training for teachers. He reads, thinks and reflects the Qur’an and Hadits and the path way of the Prophets Muhammad’s struggle and his close friends as the first generation this umah in spreading an Islamic teaching, then the result of his reflection is written in his various master piece such as: Fiqhud Da’wah. This research is a library research, in which the researcher has conducted research, analysis, reading Fiqhud Da’wah book and relevant literatur in accordance with the topic of reseach. Related to the concept of teacher’s competences who has a role as educator. From this research, it can be drawn a conclusion that the perspective of M. Natsir related to the teacher’s competences is very comprehensive, for example: teacher has to pay an attention to his qualification such as: 1) guiding the soul (al-I’dad al-Fikry); 2)preparation in the knowleadge and science; and 3) caring about “akhlaq’. The Islamic studies teacher has not only Islamic studies knowledge, broaden paradigm, and understading the characters of his/ her society. They are not only demanded to be a teacher educated and guided with the sincere heart, but they is also a role model who direct his/her “ummah” by applying an honour “akhlak” to themselvesKeywords: preacing, teacher’s competences, preacing characteristic

Abstract

Islam as a worldview has a different point of view from other religion and civilisation perspective to see the world. This point of view is reflected and accumulated in the key concept understood from the main Islamic teaching source, Al-Qur’an and Sunnah. For example, related to the concept of science in the western civilisation. The concept of science in Islam has an effect on the goal orientation of Islamic education, that is different from the goal orientation of the western education. These Islamic Education goal are: Producing human being, having a good moral value, who can put something based on the real honor, using the right ways to reach the correct goal, and struggling for something to reach the right goal. The concept of science in Islam has an orientation to curriculum and classroom learning process. The education curriculum has to be developed integrally. Integrate between fardhu ‘ain and fardhu kifayah science development. In addition, the implementation of this can be dinamic. In the learning process of courtesies related to the science, the courtecies of the relationship between teacher and student in the educative interaction has to be implemented.Keywords: The concept of science, courtecy, and education

Abstract

This paper is motivated by there are some dishonesty in the community, such as hoax news, hate speech, prejudice, cheating, corruption, theft, fraud, robbery that cause anxiety, mutual suspicion and disharmony in social life. Why does this happen? Because teachers at school and parents at home can not build honest characters to their children. Therefore, this writing will describe how teachers and parents form an honest character in children. Stages of character formation will be correlated with psychological theory. The results of the study found that to educate an honest character, children are not only given cognitive knowledge about honesty, but also must touch the level of affection domain and implemented in real behavior.

Abstract

Article entitled "Management of Islamic Boarding School (Case Study at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School of Yogyakarta)" intended to see as far as the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic boarding school. The main problem in this research is to know how the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic boarding school. There are three data collection techniques used in this study, namely: (1) observations, to obtain data on the implementation of the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School; (2) interviews, to get clearer, more complete, and profound information about the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School; (3) documentation, to obtain historical documents of management formulation. While the data analysis used is descriptive interpretative. The results showed that; Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School of Yogyakarta has innovative steps and strategies in developing a management; management was interpreted according to the needs of the school and the community namely through activities that called the management development of Al-Muhsin Islamic Boarding School, which was applied to the learning of faith and had been carried out by the teachers very well and efficiently.Keywords: Management, Pesantren,

Abstract

In this study, the problem that arises is how the Islamic Education Teacher Professionalism associated with the 4 competencies of teachers and Teacher Academic Qualification as listed in the laws. How can a teacher be able to develop the four competencies required of qualified academic and inline with the subjects of teaching. The extent to which a teacher was able to carry out the responsibilities and duties - duties properly. Not only the responsibility for learning in the classroom but how learners are able to actualize in daily life - today. The informants of this study was teacher of Islamic education at the Senior High School 2 Semarang and learners in the school environment. Research on the professionalism of teachers of Islamic education in the National High School 2 Semarang, using the technique of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis model used in this study is komponensial domain analysis. The results obtained show that , as a professional educator should not only academically , but personality and way of socializing with the environment is also become very important. Moreover, a teacher with a good personality and social will be a lot of good influence to the learners. Because teachers with personal and social wellcapable of being role models for their students.

Abstract

This article is based on the library reseach using an analysis content. This research is trying to analyse an Islamic education based on Abdurrahman wahid or Gus Dur’s thought, before he was elected as the fourt President of RI periode, from 1970 to 1998. This essay is based on the text written by Gus Dur, whether in the form of books, articles, newspaper section and any other types of the text , and also the papers from other figures who tried to interprete his thought. Based on Abdurrahman Wahid, the unclear national education direction programmed by the government - since colonial period until the reform era , that did not eliminate the colonial era heritage - is to create "kelas kerani". This class featured an alternative education concept with Paulo Freire and Ivan Illich as the figure with their oppressive education system as the main concept or the domination of strong people to the weak people. Based on Gus dur, the alternative education proposed by Paulo Friere still has the weaknesses in the approach used. It is still political in the confrontative context to the ruler. Therefore, this can make the confrontation against the ruler. This is not appropiate with the Indonesian society character who are not easy to accept the paradigm “ the confrontation between “the have and the have not”. Thus, Gus Dur offered “an alternative education” with the cultural approach” represented by “ Islamic Boarding School”.Keywords: National Education, Islamic Education, Islamic Boarding

Abstract

The growth of radical religious and political thought developed in Indonesia and become a serious threat to the nation. It is marked by still a lot of data of radical action and terror in Indonesia. Treatment and prevention of the spread of radical requires active participation of all parties. In that case, the role of educational institutions is very significant to help stop the rate of radicalism. Therefore, this research is trying to find the design of Islamic education based on anti radicalism, as well as portrait of Islamic educational institutions that implement antiradicalism based education system. This research is included in this type of qualitative research. While in terms of methods, this study includes case studies. The case is the subject of study in this research is the implementation of Islamic education in boarding Amtsilati anti radicalism Bangsri Jepara. Educational anti radicalism is implemented with two models, namely classical and non classical. As a boarding school with salaf and modern system, PP. Darul Falah was quite serious in printing his santri into moderate Muslims. This is evidenced by the existence of learning that is focused on anti-radicalism materials that must be followed by santri.Keywords: education, anti radicalism, Amtsilati Boarding School.

Abstract

Conflict can be experienced by anyone, and it can happen anywhere, including at school. Students, teachers, or a principal might face to conflict in a certain period of time. If conflict happened at school is not managed and become destructive, then it can disturb school organization and educational efficiency and effectiveness. Conflict can be a serious problem within an organisation, without considering any form of organization and it’s complexity. If the conflict continuously happen without solution. Therefore, the skills to manage the conflict through conflict management are needed by every leader, including principal to solve various conflict that happen at school’s environment. The principal is demanded to master conflict management skills, thus the conflict happened can get a positive effect to improve the quality of education.The main goal to apply the conflict management within the school organization is to develope and maintain cooperative colaboration among educational organization members, such as:principal, teachers, employees, students and even with people beyond school’s community.Keyword: Conflict, organization, principal and conflict management.
