Abstract

The background of this study was to determine and describe one of the cultural heritage of traditional fishing carried out in the village Kakorotan Sub Nanusa district Talaud islands known as the ceremony mane'e, mane'e tradition in society Kakorotan a unique culture and a social event that contains the values for the benefit of society. This study aims to provide information relating to the implementation of the traditional ceremony mane'e ranging from initial preparation to the summit ceremony as well as the benefits the ceremony on people's lives, this study using a qualitative descriptive study to describe the cultural, social groups in the ceremony mane'e. Sources of data obtained from the village government, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and local communities as well as through photographs and video footage of traditional ceremonies mane'e implementation, data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation study. This study concluded that the implementation mane'e ceremony begins with a period of abstinence or e'ha for 1 year both on land and at sea, about three months before the ceremony village leaders, indigenous, religious ceremonies to invoke the protection of a brief thanksgiving to the Creator in order to be given the smoothness, safety, and the results at the time of the ceremony. After that the measures will be implemented is marra'ca pundangi, mangolom par'ra, mattuda tampa pane'can, mamabi'u sam'mi, mamotto'u sam'mi, manganu ina, ina,, matahia manar'maalama This research can be used as a reference for the community and the government in preserving regional cultures, especially the traditional ceremony in public Kakorotan Talaud Islands. Abstract

Indonesia is a state consisting of motley the community, nations, ethnic or social group, religion, and culture of various from the one with other regions coloring variety of culture A reality cannot be denied is ever happened a number of conflicts in various areas. Some the conflict has its own genealogy and its anatomy. Was triggered the different ethnic and gap, religion, political, and other foult line (SARA) problems. The Sawai community most embraced the Christian faith, and there are Islamic. Awareness of the diversity of in turn bring up attitude tolerant and attitude open to the existence and the presence of ethnic other. The community Lelilef adheres to the principles of local knowledge, to want a life together in realizing atmosphere safe, peaceful, from harmonious in the community. Philosophy fagogoru which means ngakure ra sai (fraternity), budi re bahasa (reason and language), sopan re hormat (polite and respect) timtat re mimoi (fear and shame). Therefore, this is being ground or foundation for the Lelilef to keep religious life, so they always live in climate safe, peace and prosperity (legae santuli). There are three factors for people who live in the Lelilef village in District Weda Tengah in social life the environmental factors, the historical, the language and another factor is religion and politics. Abstract

Some of them are still can found a means traditional transportation of Becak in several regions of general and especially the Makassar City. For the past few years little by little the number of Becak began to unravel, because literally irreplaceable with a vehicle which is much more modern and fast. Becak drivers is a livelihoods just have to rely on physical force. Paddling are is not a matter easy and is done daily from morning to afternoon sometimes into the evening. But, they realized just a job this is what they can do to support their families. Fulfill their needs is felt difficult by a few people if what they produced from his job not in accordance with the need to be. Therefore they must be able to prioritise what has been need or just a desire. The becak drivers only a few comes from the town of Makassar most are from regional the province of south sulawesi, as Jeneponto, Gowa, Maros, Pangkep, etc. One of the reasons they work as becak drivers is because apart from people interested transportations service of becak there are still, the job is also one of the that does not require the level of education high or did not even need to seek the education formal. Abstract

Modernization have made values modern enter into all society in the world. Modern values bring a lifestyle hedonic prompting the community for fashionable life and modern by the community referred to as lifestyle modern society.In Indonesia, clubbing often also called dugem, glitter world, because can be flashes of disco bright lights and thump techno music played by DJ (disk jocky) sometimes that comes from a foreign country. The clubbers derived from various levels social and age vary from teenage years until elderly are still active from immersed in world night.The clubbers is of the pledge which has had the identity of a college student who felt himself modern and would not said to be outmoded or garish because it does not follow the development of existing .Modern lifestyle is precisely a college student interested in Kota Manado to enjoy dugem activities. The involvement of girls in the sparkling caused by internal and external factors. The internal factor that is the saturated on the activities of the same, pressure obtained from activity college , the assumption that clubbers that slang, and the personal problems .The external factor is solicitation friends or acquaintance, interest that arises from social media, environmental changes promiscuity, and lack of supervision of parents or guardian. Abstract

The problems were found in the Waitina village have a research concerning with public participation in the Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (posyandu) that is the facilities required by health workers so that the service less so fulfilling for the more especially for toddlers and pregnant mothers. Program that should run well or effective finally not in accordance with what is expected, and communities still have not too knowing benefit and importance of posyandu for toddlers and mothers pregnant. At first programs Posyandu carried out by the specific health to toddlers and pregnant mothers less is on good cooperation. It means, the community was not care with these programs, they are more inclined to silence at home rather than go to the PUSKESMAS join the programs Posyandu carried out by the health, but through socialization by Posyandu officers slowly but surely there has been a change in the community because of right now the were very excited about Posyandu programs. Abstract

Regional Head Election conflict (Pemiulkada) Governor and Vice Governor of North Maluku province in 2007 involving these time supporters spotted from the rivalry between the pair of Abdul Gafur-Abdurrahim Fabanyo with Thaib Armayin-Gani Kasuba contested the Governor and Vice Governor of North Maluku Province. The conflict took place due to the interests of the two camps to lead North Maluku. This research aims at describing the conflict's political elite in the general election the Governor and Vice Governor of North Maluku province in 2007. The method of research used the qualitative method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and study the documentation. Sample determined in purposive for in-depth interviews conducted in purposive sampling a number of 15 people consisting of: KPUD provinces and Districts: 2 persons, members of DPRD the North Maluku Provincial/party Poles: 2 persons, community leaders: 1 person, the Candidate Governor and Vice Governor: 2 persons, successful teams: 3 persons, academics: 2 persons, reporters: 2 persons, and NGO Activists: 1 person. Data analysis is carried out, which further descriptive data of the organized were investigated thoroughly and return data that has been collected from various sources. The data collected is then read back overall and made notes about edge data considered important and in line with the focus and purpose of the study, then do the coding of data, easily searched for and found when needed in making the categorization. The next step is done categorization, where the data had meaning the same category made its own name / its own label also earmarked for discover patterns and theme, researchers conducted before of interpretation of data. The final phase done researchers namely interpret research conducted exists for withdrawal conclusion after verifying all the data to answer problems in this election. The research results show that in the implementation of the general election governor and the vice governor of North Maluku 2007 found: First, conflict start seen since stage registration candidates, in which couples H. Mudaffar Syah-H. Rusdi Hanafi cancelled of his preferred candidate by KPUD provincial North Maluku because they did not fulfill regulation the 15 % to the votes and support seats. Second, stage campaign period, conflict can also be seen start hardened because third candidate couple and team the success of protest against the schedule some of which day has fallen during Ramadan and Eid, and when socialization stage the schedule is accepted all parties well. Third, calculation stage and recapitulation the ballot, where conflict is more open and prolonged caused the political elite prefer the interests of each as to be almost no space negotiations to conflict resolution. Fourth, stage conflict resolution, done through state apparatus with the approach security, negotiations, and dialogue. Although recognized, during conflict the political elite never want to sit with to dialogue in order to find resolution (handling) the conflict. Conflict elite politic in general election governor and the vice governor of North Maluku in 2007 it ended after the issuance of the decisions law for the winner by the Supreme Court (MA) and Rejected Dispute Authority Between Agencies (SKLN) requested by KPUD provincial North Maluku in the constitutional court (MK). Suggested, First, the elites politic and the public to the fore must maintain the climate that conducive, far from the nature of brutal and violence and will lead to physical conflict. Second, the elite standing general election to be ready kala and ready to have a real seikap fighter, ready to accept reality political. And when important is the elite party supporters successful the team / supporters, security officials insurer general election to be neutral and uphold rules and regulations. And a third of the political elite must be more oriented in the citizens needs and indicated democratic behavior according to ethics political. Sei reen, which is a cultural value, should had a role as a stimulant, of the cultural play an important role in the process of forming and maintenance Minahasa identity. Abstract

Craftsmen is one of the very noble profession that is trying to preserve one of the cultural heritage of our ancestors in any form including culinary , lack of attention on the craftsmen making craftsmen in Indonesia as a profession less attractive to a handful of people who prefer to work in large companies. Tofu and tempeh in the shoulder village is a cottage industry with workers kumlah less than 10 people who have to work up to 12 hours , long amounts of time is caused due to lack of manpower and demand from consumers . Abstract

Global influence is the main thing of the spread of the culture, the various cultures of the developed countries on the continent of Europe and America has existed in Indonesia. Not only Western culture, but the culture of developed countries in Asia today have crowded in consumption by Indonesia, one example of a culture that is currently massively use by Indonesian society is the culture south Korea, which was known as hallyu or Korean wave. Hallyu is quickly and surely come and stay into the Indonesian community life especially in the hearts of young people. With their products that are very simple but always full of innovations, hallyu has now becoming one of the youth culture in Indonesia. Iin several major cities in Indonesia hallyu’s products became the most important thing of the young people, it is also entered in the city of Manado, hallyu or Korean wave has become one of the phenomena, which is the young people who are the nation's future is now using and adoring the product of outside, without thinking to use domestic products. Abstract
