Abstract

The Ma'Nene tradition in the Toraja tribe in Makale District, which has undergone changes in its procedures and implementation, which was previously in the Aluk Todolo version, has now undergone changes in the Christian version. Ma'Nene is a memorial service for the family of the deceased as a form of gratitude and appreciation to the deceased for his services to the descendants who have been left behind by lifting the corpse from the burrow (grave) and lining the clothes or wrapping the corpse with new cloth. The process of implementing Ma'Nene in a belief has almost similarities, but the rules of implementation are different, the function of the Ma'nene version of Aluk Todolo is to ask for blessings to the spirits of the ancestors, while the function of the Christian version of Ma'nene for Aluk Todolo and Christians has something in common, namely as a sign of affection and appreciation for the family of the deceased. So it is undeniable that the family or relatives of the deceased tried their best to carry out Ma'Nene so that they could obtain worldly salvation. The Ma'Nene tradition is an ancestral heritage that still survives today even though many have embraced the divine religion. The loyalty of the Torajan people to the trust of their ancestors is firmly embedded in the soul of every person. In Torajan society, if they have not carried out the Ma'Nene tradition, during their lives and until their descendants will not get salvation. Therefore, it is important for the Torajan people to carry out this Ma'Nene Tradition. Keywords : Tradition, Ma'Nene, Toraja

Mating will continue to be carried out by humans with certain goals, reasons for implementation and the most basic is to carry out the process of regeneration or continue offspring. Marriages can be divided into customary marriages and non-customary marriages. Customary marriage is understood as a marriage based on customary rules that apply in the local community. Batak Toba traditional marriage is something that contains and produces rules, many values, principles, and certain ways that underlie life and growth in the community itself. In the traditional marriage process, there are conditions that must be done, namely the dowry given by the bridegroom to the bride in accordance with the customs and customs in the tribe, the dowry is called the term Sinamot. Sinamot tradition is the initial transaction process carried out by the Batak community as part of the procedure for marrying by the man to the woman. The Batak Toba people who live in Depok City, especially Limo District, still believe in the Sinamot tradition and still use it in a series of traditional marriages, even though they already have their own thoughts due to the environmental differences they face, but this is actually a challenge for the local Toba Batak tribe community to maintain and make the tradition a characteristic or identity that must be maintained. Abstract

Islamic organizations in Indonesia are an interesting phenomenon to study, considering that Islamic organizations are representatives of Muslims who are the majority in Indonesia, Nahdlatul Ulama also views plurality as a necessity (sunnatullah), providing guarantees and tolerance in maintaining common relations by laying down universal values, such as the principles of justice, togetherness and honesty. Radicalism and religion-based hate speech in Indonesia in several religious practices often trigger various conflicts, conflicts, and disputes. This is a real threat to the security and integrity of life of the nation and state based on the ideology of Pancasila. Therefore, preventing, counteracting and being aware of the threat of the spread of radicalism is not only the role of the security forces but requires the role and support and participation of the community and socio-religious organizations. This further shows that religious freedom is still a crucial problem for social life in Indonesia and can be a threat to the harmony of life of the people in Manado City The value of Nahdlatul Ulama in the social life of the community in Manado City is very visible as a medium of glue for social relations or Ukhuwah Islamiyah to community members, in addition to showing the strengthening of religious rituals in each individual in finding their identity and efforts to get closer to their god, while in the social dimension it can be a guide for achieving collective ideals both social and cultural. Abstract

The family is the only social institution that has responsibility in human development not only limited to succession but is the main and important source of education, good relationships as a family and friendship, and a level of kinship that is permanent or irreplaceable by others. Single parents are different where only the father or mother takes care of and raises their own children without the presence of a partner. It is not easy for single parents to live their lives after losing one family member, namely their husband, because everything must be borne by themselves. Taking on the role of a single parent can be caused by several things, including divorce, death, and pregnancy out of wedlock. The life of a single parent in Gotowasi Village before divorce or death by her husband, her household needs are very good because all household needs are on average provided for by her husband. But after being left behind by her husband or male head of the family, the woman then works double to support her children from the cost of daily food and drink, school fees and other needs. They seem to want to show one thing that women can live without men even though they themselves cannot deny themselves that they need a more decent family as well as the lives of others who live with complete and complete family harmony. While herbal medicine is a medicine from the results of plant extracts based on what the community has experienced about the use of these plants has succeeded in reducing or curing diseases that have currently been done research by experts on what substances are contained in it and the efficacy of these substances. Since a long time ago, parents in Guaan Village often use traditional medicines whose ingredients are deliberately planted in the garden and around the house, one of which is ginger (Zingiber officinale) to cure coughs, some even grow wild, which people usually call laka flowers (Impetiens balsamina L) for wound healing. However, currently only certain people, especially the elderly, are still preserving the tradition, so it is feared that the existence of traditional medicine and its use will gradually become extinct.
