Abstract

The process of drafting schedules manually felt less efficient because it takes a long time. The problem of drafting the schedule will be complex if the number of components is more large amount of data from each component. The expected schedule is not just a schedule that does not clash, but a schedule that can adapt to some constraints that must be met within the schedule. Genetic Algorithms are algorithms that are iterative, self-adjusting and probabilistic algorithms in search for global optimization. The process of chromosome initialization generated from teacher assignment data by integer representation of each gene containing randomly generated assignment codes. Each chromosome with the highest fitness value is a representation of the subject schedule solution. From the testing process that has been done, has obtained the parameters of Genetic Algorithm is the best population number is 90, the value of the combination of Cr and Mr is 0.5 and 0.5, and the number of generations as much as 40000. The process of finding solutions using these parameters obtained the value of fitness that is 0,8451.

Abstract

The increasing of population number in Malang City triggered property developers to answer people's needs by developing and supplying assorted facilities of property. Many criterias should be considered by prospective buyers in selecting a property, for example: price, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, garages, building area, and land area. The numerous considerations referring to some specific criteria lead prospective buyers to take a difficult decision. Regarding to this problem, there are several methods able to resolve the complicacy of buyers in taking decision, which are performing combination of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a way to calculate weight of each determined criterion, and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) as a method used in ranking the criteria. In functional test, the result of 100% represents that the system runs very well as designed. And from the accuracy test, the result is 80.80%. In sum, the AHP-SAW method combination is compatible to be used in selecting property in Malang City

Abstract

Children are part of a group of human age classification which are 0 - 12 years old. Fulfilling the nutrition requirement for the children is really important for their healthy life. One of the best way to fulfilling the nutrition requirement is by fulfilling the requirement of macronutrients. However, the ability of fulfilling the nutrition requirement is depending on how much they should spend their money on. Therefore, the optimization is needed to determine the best combination of food which can fulfil the nutrition requirement for the children and have a minimum cost. Simplex two-phase is one of optimization method from linear programming study. Simplex two-phase will minimize the cost to fulfil the nutrition requirement for the children. The outcome of this method calculation will be the quantity of food and the cost of it. The result show that the existence of feasible solution is determined by the selected foods and their cost which build the constraint function. Then, 0.1(or 1.5 gram) is the value of amount of food variable which has the minimum cost.

Abstract

Currently quadcopter, one type of UAV (Unmanned Aerial vehicle), became one of the mobile robot technology that is widely used by humans, it's used for commercial and development of quadcopter purpose. The reason quadcopter is widely used because of its ability to maneuver in all direction and flexibility. One of the interesting thinks to develop is safe landing problem of quadcopter, due a safe landing can reduce the risk of physical damage of the quadcopter. The purpose of this research was to implement LQR, Linear Quadratic Regulator method, for safe landing the quadcopter, this method is an optimal control that produce feedback gains for linear system by minimize quadratic cost function. LQR approach is used to control the attitudes and altitude to perform quadcopter landing that are implemented in ROS, Robot Operating System. The result of this research is to produce quadcopter landing method by knowing the settling time. Landing test was performed with variety of altitude i.e. at 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m, and 3m, and based on the result of landing test, the average of settling time for landing safely is 1.75 second for increment one meter of altitude.

Abstract

XYZ Company is one of the largest oil companies in the world, operating in more than 130 countries. To maintain its business process activities, XYZ company uses one of application called GIS Portal Mahakam. This application is installed on a conventional server in Balikpapan Base. To protect critical business processes from catastrophic failures, which can result in the loss of a company's ability to conduct business processes normally, XYZ companies undertake disaster recovery planning or DRP. In the implementation of DRP required process to replicate the GIS application server to Sepinggan Datacenter Recovery Center (DRC). There are three methods that support the replication server, namely the physical to physical, physical to virtual vmware converter, and physical to virtual baremetal restore. This study was conducted to compare selected replication methods, with the aim of obtaining the best replication methods to be applicable in the DRP process. The research data was obtained based on result of interview and observation. There are three methods of analysis performed. First, a comparison analysis of replication methods on the network side, storage, servers and operating systems, and applications. Second, the analysis of replication method using business impact analysis (BIA). Third, analysis of pros and cons on each replication method. Based on research that has been done, physical to virtual vmware converter method has maximum tolerable downtime for 1.375 days with the highest pros.

Abstract

Signature have been widely accepted by people as one of many tools that used to verify a person's identity. Signature verification is highly needed in order to avoid crimes regarding signature's validity. The process of signature image verification uses feature extraction based on Pyramid Histogram of Oriented Gradient (PHOG) for extracting feature from global to local image area that used for the next process, classification using K-Nearest Neighbor method. There are some parameters that can affect the feature extraction of PHOG and K-NN as classification method such as number of bin, level, range of angles, and K. As for the additional parameters, namely the amount of training data that affect the overall results of the classification used. Feature extraction and classification by the method with the best parameter values and training data used produces the highest accuracy of 99.5% on Indonesian original signature data and 98.5% on the data of the Persian original signatures. While the forgery signatures data produces accuray only as much as 56% on data from Indonesia and 35,5% on data from Persian. Results from tests show that the algorithm is not good enough for distinguishing forgery signature that has high similarity with genuine signature even it is works well for recognizing genuine signature.

Abstract

Application Permission is an application licensee type which appears before to installation process or update an application in smartphone. Many applications states that the permissions were installed to take some personal information of smartphone user. Smartphone user will be divided into two levels. Experienced smartphone user have tendency for not provide their personal information. While non-experienced smartphone user have tendency for provide their personal information. This research aims to analyze the difference understanding between the experienced and non-experienced smartphone users. It will analyze, what is the difference understanding between the experienced and non-experienced smartphone user towards installation process or update. Data collected from 200 Android user. The method that is used for analyzing is Independent Sample T-test and Regression Linear. The result of research is that there is significant difference understanding between experienced and non-experienced smartphone user.

Abstract

In forming a lectures schedule, an absolute thing that had to be done is division of labor teaching duties in accordance with their field in order to create an effective teaching and learning activities. At Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Brawijaya University, the assignment process is still manually designed where it requires some substantial time, therefore it needed a right optimization methods in dealing with this case. This problem can be solved by a population-based heuristic methods, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) which has been applied in various fields such as scheduling and assignments. The data used in this study is the data division of lecturers teaching tasks as a priority of lecturer's teaching interests to a course. Through the obtained results, it had tested to find the effect of tested parameters on the resulted fitness values. From PSO parameters test results, it obtained the best particle number as 100, best iteration number as 100, and combination of velocity parameter c1 and c2 as 1.5 and 1.5 with resulted fitness value as 94878. From the results of system, the obtained assignment solution gives good results, which is still within the limits of tolerance with decreasingly obtained error values in putting a lecturer on courses that according to their interests.

Abstract

Fever is an early indicator for some diseases such as dengue fever, typhoid and malaria accompanied by similar symptoms, including muscle pain, indigestion, tongue condition and enlargement of the liver and spleen. Similar symptoms of each disease cause difficulties in getting anamnese (temporary diagnosis) so that patients get the inadequate initial treatment. Handling the problem, technology is needed to obtain a temporary diagnosis by applying one of the classification method of Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN). The method studied the pattern of previous examination data based on 15 symptoms of disease with eucledian distance calculation process, calculation of validity value and weighted voting calculation that the end result is used for class classification determination based on predetermined value of K. Testing of the value of K get the accuracy of 88.55%. The average value of accuracy obtained from testing of variation in the amount of training data is 92.42%. Testing the influence of the composition of train data get the average value of accuracy of 87.89%. Testing the influence of the composition of train data and test data get the average value of accuracy of 96.35%

Abstract

Twitter is one of social media that is liked by many people in Indonesia because twitter can make it easier for the user to interact with other user through a computer or mobile. Currently many users who give too much information on social media because they do not care about the privacy and security on the social media used. In addition party from twitter stated the existence of data theft in the form of the personal information of millions of Twitter users in the whole world. User attitude when providing personal information on twitter certainly influenced by several factors. This research aims to determine the factors that can affect the attitude of Twitter users toward the gift of personal information. The sample used in this research as much as 241 Twitter users toward the gift of personal information with aged 16-25 years in Indonesia. Data analysis methods in this research using Structural Equation Modeling. The results of this research shows the factors that can affect the attitude of Twitter users toward the gift of personal information is trust in provider. The results of this research also shows the existence of the suitability of the models in analyzing this research because the value of the Goodness of Fit in accordance with the criteria.
