Abstract

To create an Android application, developers need to consider things other than security, such as application performance, because Android itself as a mobile device inherently has limited resources so that efforts to improve the performance of applications developed specifically for the Android platform needs to be done. Questions on developer forums such as Stackoverflow on which algorithms are performing better on Android platforms are emerging, to answer those questions there will be a performance comparison between two well-known and popularly used cryptographic algorithms, AES and Blowfish. The study chose two popular symmetric cryptography algorithms that are used: Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithms and Blowfish algorithms to compare performance on the Android operating system. The data used derived from the generator data based on certain rules. Comparison of performance will be done with 3 parameters, namely: data length, key length, and differences in processor architecture. Testing each data is done 20 times to improve the accuracy of algorithmic performance. The test results show that the Blowfish algorithm has better encryption and decryption performance than the AES algorithm on testing of data length and key length, on testing of Intel AES processor is superior to 0.3-0.4 ms faster while on ARM processor Blowfish is faster by 0.2 Ms.

Abstract

One of the most feared disease in the world today is cancer. For cancer patients, various ways have been done, one of them is chemotherapy. But in chemoteraphy, patients will experience digestive and absorption of nutrients disorder, thus affecting the nutritional status of patients. So, the menu orders for cancer patients become the most important thing to reduce the side effect of chemoteraphy, especially in term to fulfill the needs of energy and protein. In this study, there are 111 food menu, consist of 31 foods source of carbohydrate, 34 foods source of animal protein, and 46 foods source of plant protein.The method in this study using genetic algorithm, which is an optimization algorithm that similar to evolution theory in case determining the chromosomes or individual.The representation used is a permutation representation, with One-Cut Point Crossover and Reciprocal Exchange Mutation methods. The results and analysis of crossover rate and mutation rate combination against the average fitness value showed 0,6;0,4 has the largest average value, which is 762,19. In population test, the highest average fitness score was 631,16 in the 300th population. While in generation test, the highest average fitness value was 666,22 in the 200th generation.

Abstract

Nowadays trains have become one of the most popular public transportation. The high demand of this transportation certainly will affects increasing the number of trains itself and it's routes. Therefore a system that can facilitate the monitoring of the position of the trains during a trip was required. Indeed PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has started applying modern technology in monitoring their trains positions to improve the quality of their services. In monitoring the position of the railway circuit, a GNSS-based monitoring software named LocoTrack has been used before. However, blind spot points and positioning accuracy addressed from GNSS utilization still need to be fixed. This research will discuss about other ways to monitor the position of the trains during a trip that can improve the results of an existing LocoTrack app. This research will propose the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology as a marker medium of position and Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) as data communication protocol. The results showed that the use of RFID as position marker can be done and has very good accuracy. Also the use of the MQTT protocol as a data delivery medium can support lighter and faster delivery.

Abstract

Water is a one of the natural resources which is very important and necessary for the activity and survival of living things, as humans, animals and plants. River is one of the source from various alternative sources of water available for processing. But nowadays as growth of population grows, industrial growth, economic development and rising standard of living cause degradation of quality of water itself. Pollution of river occurs when in the water there are various substances or conditions that can reduce water quality standards that have been determined, so it can't be used for certain needs. Therefore, there is an effort to maintain the quality, quantity and continuity of river water by monitoring and measuring the quality of water. Previously, river water quality and measurement was measured using manual methods such as Water Pollution Index (IP), Water Quality Index (WQI) and STORET with high time and cost constraints. So that another method is needed to speed up the calculation process effectively and efficiently using Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) method which can classify data into 4 water quality class of river based on 7 input parameters. The LVQ implementation process for river water classification begins with the dataset division, data training, data testing and classification that will result in a class of good, mild, moderate and heavy contaminated classes. The best average accuracy result is 81,13% using alpha 0,1, decrement alpha 0,4, comparison of training data and testing data 100: 35 from 135 total dataset, maximum epoch 10 and minimum epoch 0,001.

Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science Choir's or commonly referred to with the Logicio Choir (LC) is a Division in the organization of Arts and Sports in an environment of Faculty of Computer Science called the BIOS (Badan Internal Olahraga dan Seni). The Division was used to accommodate FILKOM students and has talent in the field of the chorus. The participants emerged from the desire to improve the knowledge and skills of their music. To become a member of this choir performed need several stages of selection. The criteria assessed in the selection include the ability of auditory (hearing), the ability to read scores or not numbers, the ability to sing with good intonation, articulation and determination high and low tone of someone (ambitus tone). A large number of criteria in selecting a jury, at least as well as the results of the different criteria that each Member makes it difficult in reaching a decision. Profile Matching is one of the decision-making methods that is suitable for selecting the members objectively based on the criteria that are needed by the organization. Profile Matching is a decision-making mechanism to assume that there is an ideal level of predictor variables that must be owned by individuals, not the minimum level that must be passed. Assessment and calculation of the value gap based on 9 citeria: Ambitus, hearing 2 tone, hearing 3 tone, hearing 4 tone, hearing 5 tone, reading notes, reading block notes, singing mandatory song, singing free song. The result of the profile matching method implementation is it can be an efficient and effective solution in making a decision in the member admission. The system can be used to make a decision with the output of the system is in the form of urutan based on the final score from the highest score to the lowest with a total 61 test data with a percentage of validity 77.04%.

Abstract

The common treatment for the myopia is by using the glasses, the other ways to cure this problem is doing lasiik surgery, but it takes large amount of financial so only people who have good financial can do this solution. The bates method which have found by Dr. William Horatio Bates 100 years ago was easy and can be used by everyone to cure myopia. The bates method has implemented to an application which using virtual reality technology, this implementation have a purpose to train eyebrow muscle eye easily and independently. The using of gyroscope sensor in smartphone and google vr sdk support eyebrow muscle eye training on bates method. The simulation in this training using the green pointer which move based on training technique. The user using this application in period 30 days and 5-10 minutes training duration each day. The measurement of myopia scale done on the first day and 5 times in period 30 days with interval 6 day using in-app features. The result of effectiveness testing for 12 respondent show the avarage decrease of myopia scale is 0.22D. This result come near with the result of Hildeth's research in 1947 that show result 0.25D. This successfull testing show that virtual reality implementation is effective with bates method.

Abstract

Recommendation System is a software or technique that provides suggestions for items or objects which can be used for some users. That recommendation is related with any decision making process, such as items that would be chosen, etc. In this research, recommendation system will be used to decide which job vacancies that match with user's criteria. Currently, there are many websites that provide job vacancy's information, but it's still difficult to find system that can recommend any job vacancies that match user's criteria yet. A recommendation system was made which use one of Multi-Criteria Desicion Making (MCDM), Weighted Product method. Criteria that are used for this method are last education or degree, GPA, age, English skill, and days remaining before the vacancy closed. Meanwhile, data that are used as alternatif are job vacancy's data which obtained from job vacancy's websites and some brochure, To use this system, user only need to choose criteria that match with user's criteria. The output that are diplayed by this system are job vacancies list which already be sorted based on the method's calculation. User can also see job vacancy's information more detailed. The result from accuration test that had been done is 17,5%. Keywords: recommendation, system, job, vacancy, weighted, product

Abstract

Cats that are often act as pets to humans is not spared from diseases attack. Skin disease is a common disease suffered by these mammals, if not handled quickly and accurately then the disease can quickly escalate to interfere cat's activity or can even cause death. Early symptoms of skin diseases are sometimes not so visible and not so disturbing, therefore sometimes the cat evem looks fine so the owner is not so concerned. Very limited knowledge of the owner about skin diseases experienced by cats, as well as the many similarities of the symptoms of various skin diseases that are difficult to be identified by the common people became the main reason for the author to conduct research on the diagnosis of skin diseases in cats using the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method. The Modified K-Nearest Neighbor Method is used for the classification of new data which class is not known based on the nearest k value. The dataset used in this study consisted of 240 cat skin disease data with 14 parameters and 5 different kind of skin diseases, the output of this system in the form of disease diagnosis. The highest accuracy that was obtained based on various testings is 100% at the value of k = 1. From the results of the accuracy, it can be concluded that the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method can be implemented into the skin disease diagnosis system in cats.

Abstract

E-commerce or short for electronic commerce is a business transaction that occurs in electronic networks such as internet. E-commerce should pay attention to the quality of service, because the quality of an e-commerce is very influential on the number of customers who access and decide to shop using e-commerce. Bukalapak is one of the fastest growing e-commerce development in Indonesia. In 2015, Bukalapak website ranks first in e-commerce in Indonesia. But in 2017, Bukalapak website has decreased one rating. It shows that the importance of user satisfaction in affecting the service quality so that Bukalapak website ranking increased. This research uses E-S-QUAL with Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The results show that Efficiency, System Availability, Fulfillment, Privacy, and Responsiveness have a significant influence on Bukalapak website user satisfaction. However, the Compensation and Contact variables, have no effect. Efficiency variable becomes the most important factor in influencing the satisfaction of the Bukalapak website users. This proves that ease and quick access to Bukalapak's website provides a high level of satisfaction as it meets the expectations of users.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a part of research from Text Mining which is usefull to classify text documents contained opinion based on sentiment. Text document that is used in research comes from Twitter from people's opinion about cellular telecommunication service provider. The used method is Support Vector Machine with using Lexicon Based Features as its feature renewal instead of using TF-IDF features. The used data in this research is 300 data which divided into two types of data with ratio 70% for training data and 30% for testing data. The result of system accuracy that is obtained from sentiment analysis using Support Vector Machine and Lexicon Based Features method is 79% using degree value 2, constant learning rate value 0.0001, and maximum iteration is 50 times. While sentiment analysis system without using Lexicon Based Features is resulting accuracy at 84% with the same parameter values.
