Abstract

Qopee is a beverage product provider that utilizes a franchise business system. Currently the raw material ordering system in the Qopee franchise has been carried out using a web that utilizes the WooCommerce plugin by implementing the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment method. However, the raw material ordering system is less effective and efficient, as is the payment system which is less practical and safe than the non-cash payment system. To solve this problem, an Android-based raw material ordering information system was developed in the Qopee franchise. This system provides features for logging in, logging out, viewing raw material choices, adding raw materials to the shopping cart, selecting payment methods and checkout. The React Native framework was chosen to develop this system on the Android platform by utilizing the WooCommerce Rest API for processing data transactions from the web and Midtrans payment gateway for the payment system. To find out the level of success of the system being developed, a functional test was carried out using the blackbox testing method which obtained valid results on all tests and compatibility tests which resulted in the system being able to run well on all test devices.

Abstract

In this era, every company faces fierce competition of fulfilling consumer expectations by providing satisfying services. So it needs to be supported by the use of information technology, to make a profit and be able to compete in a wider market. The Electric Bill Payment Application is a monitoring system for the payment of electricity bills to help administrators, collectors, and Griya Bayar's members. The development of electricity bill payment applications takes a case study at Griya Bayar Respon, Malang Regency. The system development process is carried out using the waterfall method, starting from the needs analysis to testing with an object-oriented approach. In the needs analysis phase, it produces 23 functional needs. The implementation phase utilizes the Laravel framework. System testing that conducted is unit testing with 100% valid data results from 4 functionality tests, integration testing results 100% valid, and validation testing results 100% data valid from 23 functionality of test cases. Non-functional testing is tested using the compatibility and usability parameters. Compatibility was tested using Sortsite software with the result that the electricity bill payment application can run on several browsers including internet explorer (IE), Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, iOS, and Android. Usability produces an SEQ value of 82.8% that is in the category of excellent and Successful, and the average of SUS is 74 in which means Acceptable.

Abstract

Cloud computing is an important technology and is quite widely used today. Some companies that provide cloud computing services now are Google, Microsoft, IBM and Amazon. One of the popular cloud computing services is virtualization. Virtualization allows a single machine to perform multiple roles of a running service. In the application of virtualization in cloud computing, live migration is a very important process. Live migration of a virtual machine requires the entire state of the source virtual machine to be moved to the destination virtual machine. On the other hand, there is a live migration technique called container live migration which only requires the state of the service to be moved. This research applies container live migration techniques to move services from one virtual machine to another, without having to move the entire state from the source virtual machine to the destination virtual machine, using Podman and CRIU. With Podman, a service can run as an isolated process, independent of its surroundings. With CRIU, services can be stopped and transferred from one machine to another. The results of functional testing show that the proposed live migration method is capable of moving services between different cloud providers. The results of testing the implementation of container live migration between cloud providers using Podman and CRIU show an average downtime of 34.618 seconds, and an average migration time of 71.627 seconds.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology in Indonesia have resulted IT Graduated Students are necessarily needed. However, there are still many graduates who are considered disappointing. One of the factors causing this problem is the exlcusion of programming curricula at the elementary, junior, and senior high school level and the limited access to programming course. Then, the authors collected data by questionnaire to 58 students of the Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) in 2018 where 75.9% of respondents thought that learning programming on mobile devices would make it easier for them to learn programming because it would facilitate access to learning. Then, 91.4% of respondents never learned the Java Language before becoming a college student, even though Java is a programming language that is often used. Therefore, the M-Learning application to learn Java Programming is necessary to facilitate students in learning Java Programming. This research will use the Mobile-D method in which the M-Learning application is flexible and the Mobile-D method is used because it can adapt to the users need. Based on the results of research conducted, user ratings of applications with an average SUS score of 84 for students and 70 for lecturers, it can be concluded that Java-Based Learning Applications to Support Students in Learning Java Programming are easy to use and can be accepted by users.

Abstract

In this modern era a motorcycle is very common means of transportation to use. With the increasing population of motorcycle users, accidents caused by motorbikes cannot be avoided. In general, accidents cannot be predicted when and where accidents occur. By using an accident notification system on a motorcycle, it will be easier to find out the location of the accident. So that the device does not consume excessive power on a motorcycle battery, it must have a low power mechanism to be able to save power. Low power and state machine mechanisms can be implemented in a prototype system that serves to inform that an accident has occurred by sending a short message containing the location of the accident. In testing the accuracy and functional levels of several components obtained results that are as expected. The MPU6050 sensor has an accuracy of 84.43%, the NEO6M module has an accuracy of 99.99% and the functional module SIM800L can send short messages properly. In testing the low power mechanism can reduce the power consumed by 22.2 mA or 18.8%. The device consumes power of 117.7 mA without using a low power mechanism and consumes power of 95.5 using the low power mechanism.

Abstract

PKL is an implementation that combines academic education obtained from the teaching and learning process on campus and the expertise obtained by students from hard skills and soft skills. In the Information Systems Department (JSI) of Universitas Brawijaya students who will meet PKL subjects independently must find a company that will use the PKL location. At present there is still no collaboration between the company and JSI, so there are students who find it difficult to find companies to implement street vendors. The purpose of this study is to study the user experience of desktop and mobile information systems to bridge the relationship between students and related companies looking for street vendors and spread information on street vendors, which can fulfill their needs, are easy to use and provide pleasant benefits for users. The approach used in designing solution designs is Human-Centered Design (HCD). The system design made consists of a high fidelity prototype, which is then evaluated by the usability testing technique by measuring three aspects namely, efficiency, and satisfaction using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) questionnaire. The test results for the desktop version resulted in a success rate of 98.64%, a TBE value of 0.036 goals / second, and a value of 6.19 in the level of user satisfaction. In the mobile version, get a success rate of 97.3%, TBE value of 0.205 goals / second, and get a 6.2 value on the level of user satisfaction. And found 41 suggestions from overall participants that are useful for further research.

Abstract

Batu City Informatics Communication Office is one of the government agencies responsible for the implementation of E-Government-based public services and information management. DISKOMINFO Kota Batu provides services in the form of data centers. The form of data center services to Batu City agencies includes requests for website subdomains. Operational problems that are experienced include the absence of routine and scheduled data backups. The common focus is management's commitment to improve service quality. To find out the form of service management carried out by the Ministry of Communication and Information, it is necessary to evaluate the maturity level of data center services. The current condition of the data center does not meet standards and the management therein is not carried out regularly. Maturity level evaluation using the ITIL Framework with the Service operation domain. This evaluation produces recommendations for data center service management. During the evaluation process, valid data were collected by means of document studies, interviews, and questionnaires to obtain a maturity level analysis of the Service operation domain in the Common Service operation Activities sub domain of 2.1 (repeatable). and the organizing service operation of 1.9 (initial). This analysis shows that there are still many data center service management processes that have not been implemented as well as service management functions. The existence of recommendations from this evaluation will assist the Ministry of Communication and Information in improving the management of standardized data center services.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs who have established small coffeeshop business for a long time, using coffee grinder machine which has no automatic scale tchnology inside, absolutely wish that kind of technology exist in their machines without replacing with the new ones. From that problem statement, the researcher will provide solution by creating coffee beans automatic measuring system in the storage of the grinder which there is not any automatic scale technology. This system will use load cell censor hardware with HX711 module as an object reader, in this case is coffee beans in the hopper. This system will also use stepper nema 17 motor whose end has already connected with artificial component in the form of auger and driver A4988 which is used as actuator to the coffee beans in the hopper. There is also 16x2 LCD with 12C module used as whole information display of the process, from the beginning until the end. It has three push buttons utilized by users to choose three mass measuring target of the system and it use servo motor as a open-close valve between the prototype tool and grinding machine. Then, the analysis result for this system testing can be concluded that there is 16,9% error to the digital scale tool, whereas for monitoring analysis, the whole information dislpayed on LCD monitor gain good system testing result in displaying all the system information. The next analysis is motor stepper actuator to the coffee beans capacity in the hopper and the result of motor stepper movement is 100%. It means that the movement towards the coffee beans capacity in the hopper is good. It moves very well. The conclusion of the final testing analysis to the entire system is the researcher gain 100% for accuracy of the entire system and it can be stated that it can work properly just as the purpose of this research.

Abstract

Parallel processing is a process which use more than one of CPU or processor as data processing. On the parallel processing there are some methods which use for data processing and applied on the algorithm. That methods are OpenMPI which is standard programming that have work prociple distributed memory and OpenMP that have work principle or processing use shared memory. The both methods will be used on the parallel processing which applied on two multiplication matrix vector algorithms.That algorithms are Rowwise 1-D Partitioning and 2-D Partitioning. The algorithm of Rowwise 1-D Partitioning and 2-D Partitioning will be processed in parallel on OpenMPI and OpenMP. Parallel processing on two algorithms to matrix vector multiplication will be applied on Raspberry Pi 3 device. To access Rasberry Pi 3 use putty application for do remote access and WinSCP application for know the directory where the program is stored. Therefore, Rasberry Pi 3 in this research is as main processor on parallel processing matrix vector multiplication to Rowwise 1-D Partitioning and 2-D Partitioning algorithms. The performance from the both of these algorithms will be compared to get results in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

The Communication and informatics Agency of East Java is a government agency that organize communication dan informatics, statistics and encryption or security fields. Information security is a key in securing informations, hence The Ministry of Communication dan Informatics issued Information Security Management System related regulation on government agencies in Indonesia Minister of Communication and Informatic regulation number 4 of 2016, hence the Communication and Informatics Agency of East Java Province as the communication and informatics executor need to evaluate and analyze their information security. In this study, evaluation and analysis conducted using KAMI (Keamanan Informasi) Index questionnaires to determine the maturity and completeness level of information secutiry on six areas such as governance, risk management, frameworks, assets management, technology and information security, and supplement. From the evaluation, the maturity level on five areas are between level I to II and the completeness level gets a score of 258. With these score and levels, The Communication and Informatics Agency of East Java determined needs improvements to conduct with ISO27001 sertification. The result of the analysis form basis of recommendations obtained from ISO2700 control, one of the recommendations is information security regulations related to A.5.1.1 control of ISO27001.
