Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explain and explore the theory ofperformance associated with organizational cultural factors and individualcompetencies. Employee performance has become important terminology orconcepts in discussions, especially in encouraging the success of the organizationand human resources. Performance will always be the actual issues in theorganization for any organization's performance is key to the effectiveness of theorganization's success. Employee performance is an important issue and apractical and theoretical standpoint. Employee performance is not only influencedby the employees themselves, but also determined by several factors such asorganizational culture and competencies of individuals where the person works.Competence is a concept in human resource management, which requires greatattention. No business, public or private, to detach themselves when discussingcompetence. Theoretically, supported by several empirical studies, individualperformance is influenced by a number of factors, namely the organizationalculture and individual competencies.Keywords: organizational culture, competence, performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand loyalty mediated image of thebrand trust on a Samsung smartphone users in Jombang in 2015. The populationwas taken from Samsung Smartphone users who are in the Jombang district,using multistage sampling, involving 150 respondents. The analysis techniqueused in this study using Multiple Mediation which to measure and verify whetherbrand trust becomes the mediation of the effect of brand image to loyalty, as well asto measure the causal step of each construct. The results showed that the variableTrust (Trust) effect on the Loyalty variable. Brand Image variables also affectLoyalty variable. While the test results variable trust (Trust) is not proven as amediating variable of the influence of the brand image of the Loyalty.Keywords: brand image, loyalty, trust, influence, smatphone, Samsung

Abstract

AbstractAssessment of performance is the organizational process in assessing theperformance of employees is done with the purpose to provide feedback toemployees in an effort to improve the appearance of its work and efforts to increasethe productivity of the organization, and in particular carried out in relation tovarious policies to employees as to the purpose of promotion, a raise, education andtraining and others. The goal of this research is to analyze:1) the effect ofcompensation on employee performance, 2) The effect of labor discipline effect onemployee performance, partially or simultan The type of research wasexplanatory. The population in the research was the employee of PT SejahteraUsaha Bersama (PT SUB) in production department, by involving 71 respondentas samples. The kind of analysis using multiple linear regression. Based on theresults, it can be concluded that the compensation and discipline has positiveinfluence on employee performance, partially and simultan.Keywords: Employee performance, compensation, work discipline

Abstract

The background of this research news on the violation of business ethics, especiallythe circulation of rotten eggs is rampant in almost all parts of Indonesia. Thisnews is more interesting because researchers also found that the sale of eggs brokenfor consumption in one of the stalls in the traditional market in the town of Kedirithe biggest buyers are businessmen culinary / food. The purpose of this study wasto answer the problem formulation: (1) How is the sale of eggs broken / not fit forconsumption rated according to the theory of ethics ?; and (2) What factors aredriving sales of eggs broken / not suitable for consumption. This type of researchis descriptive because it tried to describe the view of ethical theory on the sale ofeggs broken / not worth taking to find the factors that drive the behavior of thesesales. The approach used is qualitative data collection techniques of directinterviews with the seller, observation, and literature study. The collected data isorganized, reduced, analyzed and translated so that it can be drawn conclusions.The results of this study can be concluded that the sale of eggs brokenĀ  forconsumption is contrary to the theory of utilitarianism, deontology, and thetheory of rights, and violating the principle of honesty, openness, and mutualbenefit. The driving factors for such violations are (1) the character (the seller doesnot want to be responsible in order to minimize losses), (2) lack of capital andknowledge (the seller said he did not know about the laws of consumer protectionand the danger of the eggs were flawed and scared many broken egg will makeslosses and working capital deficiency), and (3) lack of control authorities (the sellerexpects no socialization of the danger of the eggs were broken / defective anddissemination of consumer protection laws because it had never been there)Keyword: business ethics, circulation egg damage, theory of ethics

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in earnings managementof Islamic banks and conventional banks. This study using the Mann-Whitneytest to test the level of earnings management between Islamic banks andconventional banks. Researchers used a sample of Islamic banks and conventionalbanks in 2010-2014. Researchers find that Islamic banks do earningsmanagement is lower than in conventional banks. It is known from the sum ofranks higher than the conventional banks Islamic banks 66.00> 54.00. It showsthe Islamic banks have a non discressinary accrual lower than conventional banksand Islamic ethics play a monitoring role in reducing behavioral managerialoprtunistik to manage earnings through non discressinary accrual.Keywords: Earnings Management, Islamic Banks, Non Discretionary Accrual

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the financial health of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia(Persero) Tbk. the period 2010-2014. The method used in this research is themethod that includes aspects of CAMEL Capital, Assets, Management, Earningsand Liquidity. CAMEL is a tool for analyzing the finances of banks and for bankmanagement assessment set by Bank Indonesia to determine the soundness ofbanks of the bank concerned.The results of this study indicate that the financial soundness of PT. Bank NegaraIndonesia (Persero) Tbk. using CAMEL ratio value calculation in 2010amounted to 88.62, in the year 2011 was 90.1, in 2012 amounted to 90.375, in2013 amounted to 90.45, in 2014 amounted to 90.025. The net value ratioCAMEL PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Healthy categorized as morethan 81.Keywords: Health Bank, CAMEL ratio

Abstract

Index ISSI is a stock index reflecting the overall Islamic stocks listed on the StockExchange. Capital market reaction when an event that information is publishedas an announcement can be measured by using Event Study. The Eventannouncement of Pudjiastuti 2014 Susi minister touted affecting Indonesiancapital market. This study aimed to examine the content of the information thatis seen from the significance of the average trading volume activity arising as areaction of their events Susi Pudjiastuti nomination as minister of maritimeaffairs and fisheries Indonesia in 2014. The samples studied 10 companies ofmarine and fisheries incorporated in the index ISSI period from June to November 2014 in the Indonesia Stock Exchange by using purposive sampling.The results of this study found that the events candidacy announcement SusiPudjiastuti as minister of maritime affairs and fisheries Indonesia in 2014 hasinformation content. It can be seen from the significant trading volume activityoccurring within ISSI index in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the periodsurrounding the incident occurred.Keywords: Study Events, ISSI, Trading Volume Activity

Abstract

This article aims to explain the important role of a leader in connection with theformation of individual creative behavior. Leadership has a huge role for theinitiative and motivation of the idea of the individual in achieving creativity, onthe other hand the characteristics of individual creativity is a function for theemergence of creative behavior and creativity of the individual. Successful leadersdo not just become a creative, but more than that he should be able to developcreative behavior followers. Base role of a leader is to coordinate the activities ofthe individual as a process without coercive influence that resulted in theacceptance or commitment and adaptability, so that they can contribute to theobjectives of the organization. The responsibility of a leader is to help developvalue creation by combining various differences or divergence of interests amongindividuals.Keywords: leadership, creative behavior, individual creativity
