The Paradigma Journal is intended as a media for scientific studies of research, thought and analysis-critical issues on Computer Science, Information Systems and Information Technology, both nationally and internationally. <![CDATA[Rail ticket system is a train ticket booking system online that have been implemented by PT.KAI. To find out how far the success rate of acceptance of rail ticket system for the users of transport services, PT.KAI needs to test the rail ticket system. Tests conducted to determine the factors that influence user acceptance rail ticket system. Testing model in this study is using a model of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), this model to analyze the influence of performance expectancy (expectation of performance), effort expectancy (expectation of business) and social influence (social factors) on behavioral intention (intention utilization) and the effect of facilitating conditions (conditions that facilitate) and behavioral intention (intention utilization) to use behavior (behavioral usage) on a rail ticket system. Based on this study will be known factors that influence the behavioral intention and use behavior and the factors that do not affect the behavioral intention. With the research is expected to provide recommendations were appropriate and beneficial for PT. KAI in developing online train ticket booking system in the future. Based on the obtained data processed Fvalues of 5.175 and 3.09 Ftable this means Fvalues> Ftable with a significant level of 0,000 F below 0.05 that is jointly independent variable performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence significantly influence the dependent variable behavioral intention. The amount of independent influence performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence views on the value of R square of 0.139 Retrieved value Fvalues 8.303 and Ftable by 3.94 this means Fvalues> Ftable with a significant level of 0.000 is below 0.05, it indicates that is jointly variable Facilitating Conditions and Behavioral Intention significantly affect Behavior Use variables, the influence of the independent performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence can be seen where the value of R square of 0.146. With this research is expected to provide recommendations which are appropriate and beneficial for PT. <![CDATA[Expert System or popular name is psikotest surely already in common and become a regular activity in schools and institutions both large companies and small companies. There are various types of offers and the quality offered, but generally give the same picture as good.Psychological evaluations for students is a device used to illustrate the uniqueness of the individual's personality and their potential. Based on the understanding of the needs from the school, obtained from research on existing educational institutions that schools have needs different levels.The answer from an expert on a consultation of trustworthy and accountable and has a value of quality results, because an expert control field has been practiced based on the experience and knowledge gained. The method used in the design of this expert system application is Ranut Forward. Application of expert system is useful to help users in analyzing interest talents by way of input answers of statements that have been there on this expert system in every aspect from the input data condition statement to answer her, then get the results of the analysis of interest flair complete with analysis profession that should be focused over the interests of his talent. <![CDATA[The presence of information systems has given so much influence over a company, not just the organization but the effect extends to the business processes and transactions of the organization. But whether all information systems applied to the organization can be considered successful? Then how organizations can determine the success of applied information systems and how to create an information system to be successful. STMIK Nusa Mandiri has web-based academic information system is divided into two groups, namely the lecturers and students. In terms of student academic information system is needed because all academic information such as schedule of lectures, exams, guidance, and so on. Given that academic information system is used to meet the needs of user groups were students, to the need for an act of evaluation of the quality of the academic information systems. Reference used in relation to the analysis of information systems audit with the results of the performance of a system both quantitatively and qualitatively. In this study, we will use the analysis model PIECES Framework. PIECES Framework is an evaluation model that scales information system used to classify a problem, opportunities, and the directives contained in the scope definition analysis and system design. The results of this study showed the average value of user satisfaction from the results of calculations which show that students already feel SATISFIED in the use of academic information systems STMIK Nusa Mandiri Depok campus. <![CDATA[Findings problems are detected, such as: Still the ratings unilaterally cause social jealousy and judgment becomes objective. There is still no effective assessment make judgments solely based on certain criteria. The purpose of this study is to: Build a decision support system that can help the relevant agencies to provide recommendations for decision-making and judgment in determining which employees will be promoted later to be given the post. Improving the quality of research, thereby reducing errors in melolosakan prospective employees that are not in accordance with the standards of quality positions at the agency. Profile Matching methods used to solve problems in this study. <![CDATA[Data storage on server laboratory at the computer science when needed.It was because application that progressively and document required was handled by more than one person.Currently there are 6 class space the laboratory contained 30 units of computer in each room. All the time, Laboran (person who manage and work in a laboratory) have to bring harddrive external if you want to install application needed for each the lab, but during this laboran has only two external hard drive. This condition resulted in the process of installation application in the laboratory require a long time. In addition, every month laboran have to make recapitulation contract for 22 person laboratory’s assistant. Now, to make contract assistant in the lab, laboran have to open one of the workstations that is in the fasilkom’s laboratory. This can slow performance, because laboran have to coming into the fasilkom’s laboratory. By the presence of the problems mentioned above, then built a file sharing that is used to hold the application of which is required in the entire room of Fasilkom’s laboratory. In addition, a file sharing this can be used to speed up the emoluments of the preparation of reports on the whole lab assistant that until now had been stored luminance space laboratory so that laboran no need to use more external hard disk in installation perform the process of application by opening the Samba through Windows Server Explorer. It is also the case to compile the report honorarium of the lab’s assistant, laboran enough to use of a file sharing fastly. A file sharing development is using the Linux Ubuntu operating system Version 12.04 and the application of the Samba Servers the Samba to connect storage a file that is in linux so that it can be opened in a windows or linux operating system based. <![CDATA[The use of computers as the technology to impact the health of the world that such a claim onJaminan Pemeliharaan Kesehatan Masyarakat (JPKM). Once the insurance company requires theexistence of an information system that could facilitate providers in filing his claim. For that, theresearch done on the system of filing a claim on the insurance company, which until now has notbeen computerized. The system used is still done manually starting from the filing of the claims aresent via EMAIL later use in processing and submission of data to recapitulate the claim still usingMicrosoft Excel Software. Such a situation is very clear may inhibit the process of filing a claimcan result in the claim process to be delayed. The design of this information system is the bestsolution to solve the problems that exist. System development method used is the method of RapidApplication Development (RAD), which consists of four stages, namely Requierements Planning,User Design, Construction and cutover Phase. The result of this information system can facilitatethe provider to submit the data on claims and provide convenience for the insurance company,especially in the claims section to check the claim documents online. <![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran kosakata bahasa inggris terhadap hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control group design. Jenis non-equivalent control group design di pilih karena subjek penelitian tidak diambil secara acak dari populasi tetapi diambil dari seluruh subjek yang terbentuk secara alami.. Data hasil belajar diperoleh dengan melakukan tes dalam bentuk essay. Soal yang digunakan pada saat pretest dan posttest adalah soal yang sama persis. Pada penelitian ini peneliti membuat 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok yang mendapatkan perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok perlakuan adalah kelas yang akan diberikan treatment berupa pembelajaran kosakata bahasa inggris berbasis multimedia. Sedangkan kelompok kontrol adalah kelas yang akan dijadikan pembanding dengan mendapatkan perlakuan pembelajaran kosakata menggunakan media papan tulis dan buku ajar. Pada tahap awal pengujian dilakukan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan dilanjutkan dengan pengujian homogenitas kedua kelompok dengan menggunakan uji Levene. Berdasarkan hasil uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov didapat data tingkat signifikasi probabilitasnya diatas 0.05 (p>0.05) yaitu Nilai Pretest kelompok eksperimen 0.759, Nilai Pretest kelompok kontrol 0.851, Nilai Posttest kelompok eksperimen 0.945, Nilai Posttest kelompok kontrol 0.925, Nilai Motivasi kelompok eksperimen 0.688, Nilai Motivasi kelompok kontrol 0.902. Berdasarkan data hasil analisis uji levene menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (p-value) data pretes, data posttes serta data motivasi kedua kelompok adalah > 0,05, dengan demikian kedua data homogen. Dapat disimpulkan terjadi kenaikan rata-rata nilai yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran ini membawa efek positif.]]>

<![CDATA[New Student Registration Information System created to convey information about public elementary school to the public via the internet. In addition to prospective students who will enroll in elementary school can enable them to register online. But there are still many parents who do not understand the registration procedures online, and not optimal dissemination of the online registration in the community. To solve this problem the authors conducted research into elementary schools to obtain accurate data by using the method of observation, interviews and transmit kuesoner (questionnaire data). After all the data is collected penuis perform data processing using SPSS 17.0 software so that the results of this study can conclude that with their students online registration affect the number of applicants. With the results of analysis of variance to regression = 163.333 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be decided that the research hypothesis (Ha) which states "There is the influence of online registration of the number of applicants in a public elementary school jakarta", accepted.
