Abstract

This Classroom Action Research was implemented to improve the health knowledge of XII TAV 1 students in SMK Negeri 3 Pacitan, especially drug competencies. XII TAV 1 students are 38 boys. The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes and active learning of drug competencies. To answer these questions, this study uses a quantitative approach with a class action research design. The results of this class action research indicate that the use of the socratic method can improve student learning outcomes in the learning of drug competencies. The average grade in the pre-cycle stage is 63.55, going up to 69.87 in cycle 1 and rising again to 75.65 in cycle 2. Classical completeness class also increased from the original 42% in the pre-cycle stage increased to 61 % in cycle 1 and increased again to 82% in cycle 2. Another result of this study was that student activity also increased. Based on the data from the processed observation sheets, the class activity score increased from 44.30 in cycle 1 to 51.32 in cycle 2.
