Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a multimedia learning physics based on local wisdom in PALI Regency that is valid, practical, and has a potential effect on learning outcomes and students' learning motivation. The development research uses the Rowntree model which has three stages including the planning stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage. The evaluation stage using Tessmer's formative evaluation includes self-evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, small groups and field tests. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 3 consisting of 25 students. The research instruments used are walkthroughs, questionnaires and tests. Expert validation results show that the developed multimedia is very valid with an average score of 3.70. The results of the practicality questionnaire show that the product developed is very practical by obtaining a one-to-one evaluation percentage of 81.3% and a small group percentage of 85.4%. Multimedia effectiveness in terms of N-gain with an average N-gain of 0.68 in the medium category. The results of the learning motivation questionnaire showed that's average value of 34 where students have moderate learning motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that multimedia learning physics based on local wisdom in PALI Regency can be valid and practical as well as effective in improving student learning outcomes, work and energy, and increasing student motivation.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to validate the analytical thinking skills test instrument using the Rasch Model. The method uses quantitative research methods The essay test was used to evaluate the 85 students attending the PGMI IAIN Surakarta Study Program in Indonesia. Data analysis used the Rasch model–quest application because this model is known for its use in the item response theory. The essay test used to measure student analytical thinking skills in the natural science class was found to be valid, with an adequate level of difficulty, and most of the questions were within the range of student abilities. This study found a prototype instrument for analytical thinking skills in natural science learning through the analysis of the Rasch Model. This instrument can be used to help students measure their ability to think critically and analytically. The results can be used as a reference for instructors and researchers in designing, producing, and analyzing instruments for teaching students' analytical thinking skills in natural science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the Contextual teaching and learning model on science learning for disabled children. The learning devices use the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach and the PBI (Problem Based Instruction) learning model for disabled children in class X SMA which consists of the syllabus , RPP, LKPD, teaching materials and competency assessment. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. This study uses data collection consisting of expert validation, observation, interviews and tests. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the learning tools that had been developed met the appropriate criteria and could be used with minor revisions. Decent learning tools were obtained from validation results by 3 validators who were test lecturers, while the effectiveness of the devices was obtained from several indicators, namely learning implementation with an average of 93.93%, student activity with an average of 86.9%. As well as positive responses from teachers and students obtained by interview.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to describe the effectiveness of learning tools based on local wisdom in enhancing creative thinking skills in the context of sound waves. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 North Gorontalo, specifically targeting eleventh-grade students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE learning design model, which encompasses the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, it is important to note that this study focuses solely on describing the effectiveness of the learning materials, without delving into other aspects. The effectiveness of the learning tools was assessed during the implementation stage. The findings of the study indicated that student engagement during the two sessions was rated as very good. The assessment of attitudes in both sessions resulted in a percentage of 87.89% and 89.85% respectively, falling within the very good category. Similarly, the assessment of skills exhibited percentages of 85.70% and 89.85% respectively, also within the very good range. Furthermore, the test conducted to evaluate students' creative thinking abilities revealed that the majority of students demonstrated creativity in utilizing traditional polopalo musical instruments. These findings suggest that learning tools based on local wisdom have the potential to enhance students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance creative thinking skills through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) assisted Game Open Online Physics Instructional (GOOPI). GOOPI is an online game-based physics learning media and contains physics concepts found on the page: https://goopi.id/ (use UC browser). The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with two experimental groups and one control group. The sample of this study was 75 eighth grade students from a province in Indonesia. GOOPI technology as software developed to support PjBL activities in the classroom. The results of the research show that project-based learning assisted GOOPI can enhance creative thinking skills. Based on statistical calculations there is an increase in the gain value, an increase of 0.72 in the high category for the PjBl experimental group 1 with GOOPI, the PjBl experimental group 2 alone experienced an increase in the gain value of 0.55 in the medium category, and the group with the teacher based instructional method experienced an increase in the gain value of 0, 45 medium categories. It is suggested that GOOPI technology can be an interesting and effective tool to activate students' positive interest in the PJBL process. In addition, the implications of applying GOOPI for physics learning and recommendations for further study are discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on student learning outcomes. There were 26 articles analyzed in this study. The articles collected have been published in national journals, international conferences, and international journals for the last 3 years from 2018 to 2021 related to Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and learning outcomes. This research uses a meta-analysis method by calculating the effect size value in each article. Four formulas are used to calculate the effect size value for each article. This research is meta-analysis research based on the form of learning outcomes with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, Year, Type of Integration, Effect Size Value, and Type of Publication. The meta-analysis results show that the average effect size of PjBL on student learning outcomes is high and significant. The Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is mostly integrated with the Conventional Learning (CvL) model. The order of most publications starts from national journals, international journals, and international conferences, all three of which have an average effect size value in the high category, and there is no publication bias. Based on data analysis, Project-Based Learning (PjBL) can increase students' creativity in learning. Besides, it helps students to be able to think more critically in solving problems. This model can also improve students' skills to help them compete in the 21st century and the era of society 5.0.

Abstract

education, character education which aims to develop the ability of students to make good and bad decisions, maintain what is good and realize that goodness in everyday life wholeheartedly. This study aims to identify the impact that occurs on students if there is no character value in class X physics learning on particle dynamics material. The method used is a qualitative method. The instrument used is document study. The data collection technique is document study by collecting books and related literature. The sample used in this study is the material for class X in the Physics Teacher book curriculum 2013. The results of this study indicate that there are some character values that are not embedded in the particle dynamics material. This is because these values are not applied and directed at the ongoing learning. Of course, no character values in particle dynamics material can have a sustainable impact or long-term and short-term impacts that will be repeated by every student. It is hoped that in the future it can be further refined so that each character value can be listed and applied to learning so that it will build a better generation.

Abstract

The Manggar Final Processing Site (TPA) is a TPA located in the city of Balikpapan by implementing a sanitary landfill system. In this system, the waste is piled up into a mountain so that leachate generated from the waste will enter the layers below the surface due to rainwater. To detect the presence or distribution of leachate below the surface, an investigation was carried out using the Self Potential (SP) Method. The results of the data processing obtained are isopotential maps. From this map, we can see the distribution of leachate based on the potential difference value. Based on the slicing data from the anomaly, the value of the potential difference between 31 mV and -50 mV is found, which is scattered towards the north. This can be indicated as a leachate anomaly.
