Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know 1) the knowledge of sanitation and hygiene, 2) the process of health food for family, and 3) the influence of sanitation and hygiene to the process of health food for family. The type of the research is descriptive qualitative. Samples are taken by proportional random sampling technique. The method to collect the data is done by questionnaire and documentation. Validity and reliability are measured by instrument and the data is analyzed using product moment correlation.The result: the members of LPKK have knowledge about sanitation and hygiene in processing health food for family by fair category. Hypothesis measurement: 0,222 > 0,213. It means that  there is  influence of sanitation and hygiene to the process of health food for family and the contribution given to the knowledge of sanitation and hygiene are 4.9%, and the other, 95.1% is influenced by other factor.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know (1) motivation to achieve in creating design construction, (2) Sewing achievement, (3) the correlation between motivation to achieve creating design construction and sewing achievement. The type of the research is ex-post facto. Data are collected by questionnair and documentation. Data analysis techniques: descriptive analysis and hypothesis test uses product moment correlation begun by pre-requisite analysis, that is, normality and linearity examination. The results show that  motivation to achieve in creating design construction  is categorized high by relative frequency  48.38% and the sewing achievement is fair by relative frequency  61.29%. Based on correlation test, the result of rxy 0.550 >r tabel 0.254. It means that there is positive and significant correlation between motivation to achieve in creating design construction and sewing achievement.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know 1) the use of media in decorating dress subject, 2) the  achievement to decorate dress, 3) the influence of media to the achievement of the eleventh grade students.The type of the research is ex-post facto. The sample is taken by proportional random sampling technique. Data are collected by questionnaire and documentation. Data are analyzed by descriptive analysis and  product moment correlation. The results show that the use of media  is categorized fair and the achievement is high. Based on correlation exam, it proves that rxy 0,896 > r tabel 0,235,. R2 is 0,802. It means that there is positive and significant influence in the use of media toward the achievement in decorating dress subject.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know (1) parents interest, (2) Sewing achievement, (3) the influence of parents’ interest to the sewing achievement. The type of the research is ex-post facto. The samples are taken by proportional random sampling. Data are collected by questionair and documentation. The data is analized by descriptive analysis and product moment correlation examination begun by pre-requisite analysis.  The results:  parents’ interest is categorized high (93%) and the sewing achievement is fair (41.6%). Based on correlation test, the result of rxy 0.454 >   r tabel 0.195. It means that there is positive and significant influence between  parents’ interest variable and the sewing achievement.  The value is supooted by coefficient  determinant 0.206, meaning that the contributionis 20.6%.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the task-based method to improve the students’ achievement  in local content PKK of the seventh grade students. The type of the research is a classroom action research. The population is 188 students, consisting of all students at the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Kutasasri. The sampling technique  is purposive random sampling by class VII D as a sample. The data are collected by test. To analyze the data, it uses descriptive quantitative analysis. The result show that the effort of  teacher in improving the students achievement through task based method for the seventh grade students is categorized gog. It means that the implementation of the method is effective. The average score of post test is 74.58 with students. Complete learning above 70 meaning that it has met the expectation of the researcher.

Abstract

Globalization era in free competition of goods and service is a challenge which can change any aspects of social life. The condition stimulates over buying behavior (materialistic behavior) and becomes threat because it tends to be consumptive behavior causing many human life values loose. The phenomena can fall out good manner norms, time accuracy, trusteeship, empathy, respect to the different ideas to other people. It is predicted that consumerism behavior happens because of the lack of knowledge, attitude, and skills in managing finance or intelligent finance in consumption. It happens because they are not prepared as early as possible to face market in respecting the value of money, either by family or school so that the consciousness of consumer is weak because of the low education. The main step to do is empowering to the consumer through constructing and educating to society. Constructing society can done through family and school. It needs to build the consciousness of consume well in the position as consumer although it is the right of the consumer as a form of consumer protection. Construction society through educating consumer, in which there is values of life, is expected to direct to the cultivating which build good consumer character in social life. The values of educating consumer is a part of education which is necessary to cultivate step by step and continue to grow and develop the consumer consciousness to be a good personal character to avoid consumerism culture.

Abstract

This research is to know the factors influencing the choice of dress for mothers and daughters in KecamatanGondomanan, covering: 1) the choice of model, 2) the choice of cloth (material), 3) the comfortable of wearing. The questions are what factors influencing the choice of dress and what are the reasons. It is a descriptive research, conducted in KecamatanGondomanan Yogyakarta. The number of population is 100 rspondents, the sampel is 70 respondents taken by incidental technique. To explore the data, the quesionaire is used. The data is analyzed by descriptive analysis. From the research results, it is known that 58,6% select kuthubarudress model, 21,4% select moslem dress, and 20% select modification dress. The reason to thekuthubaru selection is that the dress is polite with simple materials and comfort to wear; those who select moslemdressare cause by the aprropraieness to the Islamic rules and it is alson comfortable; modification models are selected bacuse the model is up to date, it is not old fashion, it has some variation and glamour, and the users feel more self-confidence.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know the students’ achievement for those who are taught by (1) picture media, (2) comic media, and (3) the different achievement in drawing dress between picture and comic media.  The type of the research is ex-post facto and sampling research. Data are collected by questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis techniques apply descriptive and comparative analysis. The result shows that the achievement in drawing dress by comic media  is categorized high by and picture media is fair. Based on the comparative exam, it shows that there is positive and significant difference between the achievement in drawing dress by comic and picture media. The use of picture and comic media in drawing dress give experience to the students.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the factors causing learning difficulties for Tata Busana skill faced by the eighth grade students in understanding Tata Busana skill subject. The type of the research is descriptive. Samples are taken using proportional random sampling technique. Data are collected by questionnaire and documentation.Instruments are tested their validity and reliability. Data analysis technique applies descriptive analysis technique. The results show that variable of learning difficult factor in understanding the Tata Busana Skill subject is high category ( relative frequency 44,87%). It means that learning difficulty is a serious problem faced by all students because there is a disturb, either coming from internal or external factor to get a good result as learning interest, availability of learning tools, and teacher’s competition for teaching, but it does not happen in learning tata busana skill subject because it is high enough.

Abstract

      The objectives of this research are to know the factors influencing the selection of dress base on: 1) internal factors: personality and knowledge, 2) external factors: communication and social environment. The type of the research is descriptive quantitative. Samples are taken by proportional random sampling. Data are collected by questinaire and documentation. The results show:  the factors influencing the selection of dress are categorized high by relative frequency 74.19%, meaning that good dress performance determines personality of someone. The selection of dress is influenced by two factors, that is, internal and external factors, 2) the large influent factor to the dress selection can be seen from each indicator category. The internal factors cover personality indicator (25.34%) and knowledge (26.67%). External indicator factors of communication environment (21.20%), social environment (26.79). It explains that  social environment factor gives the highest contribution.
